i have to go in city center this afternoon. there is a bouyg shop here.

I was using a screen protector for a while when my device was new.

But I thought it did decrease responsiveness of the touchscreen, so I pulled it off again.

Anybody else experiencing that, especially if you've been using without SP and now put some on?

Somewhere out there is a factory making official silicone cases, tried asking my fellows at Swedroid for help,

but they told me that i should just buy a E71 cover and be happy with that (fat chance if there is a offical one).

Reason for me posting here about a official case is that i found a picture of one on a Blog. Apperently its sold by

Boyouges Telecom in france, but i cant find anyhing about it on their website. But french is gibberish for me anyway.

Maby there are some frenche people here that could help? This is how the case looks like.

This is the genuine official skin. The real thing. Look at the camera area and the hole shape.

no not found in any shop in city (bouygues sfr orange and so on .......)

just for the zte link and i think it's not the same size

I use "ZTE Blade silicone" to google in fr, and I found the key word "MUCCPSKBLADE001".

It was sold from the price 6.99 to 14.90.

Now is only the price of 14.90 in stock.

I myself want to buy one but it is a bit expensive cause I'm not living in France.

Still waiting it comes to ebay with cheaper price.

Good find. Very expensive as you say. €19.90 shipping to UK as well, €34.80 in total!

Someone could make a killing finding the manufacturer / wholesaler for these cases.

I'm very surprised that there is no one on eBay selling them ... Shame becuase it looks like exactly what I'm after.

There's others selling this in white too, one at €9.90, although they're out of stock.

Someone somewhere is making these things... and seems to only be supplying to France right now. Just need a UK importer to pick up on this and make a killing.

Maybe, but at €14.90 + delivery, that's way more than I'm willing to pay for a case... my current one cost £1.60 including delivery!

...exactly, who in their right mind would pay nearly 20 pounds for a rubber condom?

I think i traced down the manufacturer of this silicon case.

It's called MCA Manhattan Cellular Accessoires and it must be producing for company Muvit , so the case is called

MCA / Muvit MINIGEL with a fixed price of 14,90 euros.

I use another words to google trying to find another cheaper price.

Since Dell XCD35 is also a sister model of ZTE Blade.

That's what i found:

Dell XCD 35 white silicon case

Dell XCD 35 black silicon case

Dell XCD 35 pink silicon case

The price is £7.99, but the picture from this seller isn't the real image. No idea if it's what we want.

Another good find. Thanks Gued. I have emailed them and sent them the link to this thread here at Modaco. I have asked for a picture and told them of the interest in a "proper" silicone case for the Orange San Fran. Let's see what they say.

They charge £2.99 shipping so it would be £11. Still a little on the high side for a silicone case but if it fits properly I will probably buy one. Going off discussions on the pouch type cases they eventually wear the cheap paint finish ....
