The all new resin jelly case by Sofiz, here's a list of what has improved over the Nillkin set:

1. Glossy translucent with diamond shaped on the back. Softer, more flexible TPU material for easier fitting

2. Camera opening is now surrounding the plastic plate. Nillkin case has a "good fit" hole that otherwise covers the edge of the camera so you see a shadow when taking photos.

3. Enlarged headset opening for stable connection (same as improved Nillkin set)

4. *Super important* USB hole is now enlarged and will fit both original ZTE and generic USB cables. Partly thanks to the softer material.

5. Now available in translucent green and pink in addition to the existing smoke grey and translucent.

My clear blue Nilkin case (ordered from SohoGopher last week) arrived yesterday. It's perfect apart from the micro usb port, sometimes the charger falls out, I might have to trim it a little

I thought I'd share my experience :D

I bought These stickers and these screen protectors, they both arrived today. I had some trouble getting the screen protector on. It's tough to align those things when you have to hold it and apply it so carefully, and then if you get it right, you notice a tiny bit of fluff has made it under, and you have to try again, gah! I eventually got it on my 4th try. Good thing it was a 6 pack :D

All that fluff is outside the screen protector. There's a little raised bit in the very top right, above the screen, where the glass/plastic meets the rubber of the case, meh I'm not worried about that.

SOHOGOPHER is looking for a reviewer who is willing to spend some time and effort to compare the existing Nillkin and the coming Sofiz jelly case for ZTE Blade.

You should have

1. a set of ZTE Blade or Orange San Francisco

2. a Nillkin jelly case set (preferably perchased from SOHOGOPHER before, your eBay ID is required).

3. a digital camera with some photography skill

4. time to write up the pros and cons of the two brands

Please send me a PM if you are interested and committed to contributing to this fourm.

Oh yes, it's a freebie and no scam. Don't pay for anything as a professional reviewer :D

I want to order from SOHOGROPHER 2 jelly cases (green, purple), 2 mirror Screen Protector and a Carbon Fiber Skin White!

Also is it possible to send them in one package? I dont want to pay postal fees of 3gbp / item. And btw does the Carbon Fiber Skin White will fit on a BLACK phone? I mean will it cover completely or there will be black stripes everywhere?

I don't own either of the two case types so I can't comment on the materials used. But based solely on the pictures you've provided, here's my feedback.

Things I like about the Sofiz case (compared to the Nillkin case):

* The bigger lip below the buttons

* The bigger hole for USB conector

Things I dislike:

* The enlarged camera hole. This is almost a deal breaker for me. The main purpose of a phone case is to protect the phone from scratching, and for most phones, the area that is most susceptible to scratching is the glass covering the camera lens. But despite this obvious fact, most phone cases have an unnecessarily large hole on the underside for the camera lens to see through. The Nillkin hole might have been a little too small. But the Sofiz case goes too far in the opposite direction.

* The diamond shaped pattern on the back. It's not a deal breaker but I'm not particularly keen on it. If you want a pattern on the back then why not use the Android logo?

All in all, there doesn't appear to be much to choose between the two cases. On balance I'd probably buy the Sofiz one (despite my reservations about the camera hole) simply because it's cheaper.

I ordered a case from Sohographer.... took over a month to arrive from China, but luckily arrived 1 day before I went travelling to Brazil :D

great fit, i'm hoping it protects the phone.... I don't use the camera much, so not sure if the size of the hole creates any kind of 'shadow' on the lens.

at first I didn't like the amount of pressure it takes to manipulate to the power button, but i took the case off the other day and my San Fran felt naked... the power button felt much more delicate, the case makes it all feel more solid

I'm getting a bit confused, whats the difference between the Resin Jelly Case by Sofiz and the Sohogopher one or are they the same case?

thanks for all the photos guys,

worto.

I'd rather wait for a £1 silicon case to come out, in the mean time i have a £2.50 leather pouch and pack of 6 £2 screen protectors to keep my hpone in as new condition.

Sofiz: Enlarged camera opening to avoid shading, larger USB hole to keep cable stays, translucent glossy surface

Nillkin: Matte/dull surface, strap hole, free screen protectors, rubber cleaner

The samples were shipped last weekend to the fellows here on Modaco so I bet there will be some high quality reviews that you can take good reference of. :D

I haven't checked this post for a while, not after seeing the sikai cases offered in ebay by a chinese seller in Hangzhou. After showing my wife she immediately said that we had to order since she didn't know how long it would take for it to reach the UK market! So much for that, Timeblast will be listing it soon! Guess we were too impatient. Anyway I ordered 2 cases, one Black and one Pink, i will let you guess who the pink one was for. Now I recieved the pack yesterday morning and have tried them on and frankly i think they look awesome. They cover the entire phone apart from the lcd screen and the colours both the black (the black is SOLID BLACK!!!) and the pink are very sharp and eye catching. My wife also loves her case since she finally gets the girly look that she wanted and the nillkin cases were too boyish in her eyes. The material is like faux leather patterned but obviously its a jelly case, in fact if you guys have a kindle and kindle cover, it looks like that pattern really. The pattern also whilst it looks exagerrated in the photo on ebay, it is actually not that noticeable atleast its not like it looks like it sticks out. It feels like its non slip since it has a sort grip that holds it in place well.

Now you guys are also wondering about the holes and what not, all the holes are in the correct places and aligned properly and the usb hole is also big enough to let you put the usb cable in and not have it fall out. According to the slip that came with the case, it is also dust repellent and so far it seems to be the case... might need to update later!

Now finally, between the nillkin case and this sikai case, i think that both cases are nice, the materials are different but both are quality cases, though it seems the sikai case is more substantial. I think the wider range of colours that are available for Sikai is a plus though since grey blue and white is just a tiny bit too restrictive.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask! I will post some pictures up later.
