Guest JT_daniel Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I'm waiting for a flip case of this style for the OSF http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GREEN-PU-LEATHER-FLI...=item5640e2e387 There are a few slip pouches and generic side folding ones but nothing like this that I have seen for the OSF. If anyone has experimented with a flip case for other phones that fit the OSF well then please share it with me :) Hey TCTUK, I bought a flip pouch like the one you posted for the E71 and it fit perfectly. I tried it out in my local shop and got it for around 1.5 Pounds (loose conversion). The camera was covered, though and the phone had to be removed every time I needed to charge it, since the usb was covered. But hey, it did its job- Protected my phone very well! I got the Nilkin grey one (got it for 4.2 pounds shipped) today and I'm loving the jelly case! The flip pouch, though a temporary measure, was really effective, I must say. Hope that helps!
Guest crazyloon Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 has anyone ordered from amazon?-->Amazon-Blade case is this the same case as ebay but without the cloth/screen protecter etc? thanks

I have it on mine, works a treat. I paid nearly double that price so it's well worth it.
Guest Sunshineslo Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 is there any faults or problems with the sikai See Here Thankyou I just got the sikai cover yesterday. It fits perfectly, only thing I need to get used to are thick edges, from the begining it will be a little problem to push on buttons on the bottom of the phone. I also got two screen protectors, but I am not sure if I will fit them or not.

Cheers for that I'll take a look at it. I very rarely use the camera to be honest because it is pretty bad so that won't be a problem. I've got the clear/white nilkin jelly case on mine at the moment but my screen protector has taken a real battering in my pocket so I want a flip case to keep it a little safer.
Guest TCTUK Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 I also got two screen protectors, but I am not sure if I will fit them or not. I'd definately suggest you use them. I've had my screen protector (nilkin) on for about 3 weeks and it has quite a few scuffs and scratches already from being in my pocket. Better that the screen protector takes the hits than the OSF.
Guest heavyduty00 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 That is the same case crazyloon. I have it on mine, works a treat. I paid nearly double that price so it's well worth it. yeah, i just ordered one from amazon, took 2 days delivery, fits fine except you need to make sure the charger is fully in properly or it will fall out when your charging.. also there were a few small marks on my case when i received it
Guest Clitheroe1 Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 Thanks - here you go like I say the cutouts are larger than the Nilkin but £1.57 delivered...you can't really argue My case arrived this morning. It fits well and seems very robust but the down side is the case obscures the power and volume buttons and is too thick to press them through the case. Not to bothered about the volume buttons but not having access to the power button is a problem. My cack handed attempt to cut my own holes makes the case look ugly so I'm looking for an alternative already.

Guest john.smith Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 New solid colours for those who didn't like semi-transparent: Glossy Black and Milky White
Guest JT_daniel Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 Hmm, those Solid colour cases don't look very good, IMO. I like my black nilkin one better! But if anyone's bought them, can you post some more pictures? I'd like to take a better look at them..
Guest JT_daniel Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 I also bought these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/6-x-screen-protect-O...=item3f06e0f0b7 I managed to screw up the screen guard that came with the Nilkin case, it's got a few bubbles near the "San Francisco" logo and along the sides. Lets hope I can fix it better with these! Any tips on how to install the screen guard properly guys?

Its cheaper to get 2,3, or 4 but really.. I dont need them :) I am little concerend about the heat Blade produces as it can get reasonably high, but... I shouldnt use any case if that was such a big worry :) Edited April 17, 2011 by DannyDanny
Guest TCTUK Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 I am little concerend about the heat Blade produces as it can get reasonably high, but... I shouldnt use any case if that was such a big worry :) Yes the blade does produce a fair amount of heat in operation / during charging but you can still feel the heat through these jelly cases so don't be too concerned that they are preventing the blade from cooling down, the heat is most certainly still escaping.
