Very nice case,fits like a glove but unfortunately if you expect a screen protector and screen cloth as advertised you will be dissapointed.There was niether in my delivery,just the case so I will have to purchase elsewhere which is a tad annoying !

I think a previous revewer here also said that his order didn`t include the cloth and protector so it`s not a one off.

That was me and yeah I've now ordered and recieved 2 of the Exspect cases (one for me and one for my girlfriend), neither of which have arrived with screen protectors or cloths.

When you contacted play.com, what was their response, or did you not bother to wait for a response before leaving feedback?

I've had two different responses from the contact i've had (would be interested to see what they say to Simbowales) - The mail I sent first they replied too and blamed a technical problem in the warehouse, and said it had been sent back to the warehouse to be manually overridden, and that I would recieve a reply when it had been sorted - no idea what that actually means (i have translated what they wrote to what I assume they meant - as it didnt make much sense), but I havent got anything else since (~2 weeks).

My girlfriend also emailed about her order and they just sent a standard reply that she could return it if it didnt meet her needs. Im not sure if they offered to cover return postage or not i'd have to check but I assume they would as it's thier mistake.

The listing still hasnt been updated to remove the reference to the screen protector or cloth though last time I looked which is definitly Play's fault.. so it's fair to have a go at them for that I guess.

I'm happy with the case anyway and will keep chasing for a reply to the mail they sent me.

i'd love the sofiz jelly case (this) in another opaque colour than black and white, the sikai, which is available in more colous, looks bulky from the pics i've seen so far.

does anyone know whether it will be available in more colous?

Just got the Sifiz jelly case.

As mentioned above the standard charge cable does not fit it to the Jelly Case. (I have UK OSF)

BUT

it doesnt matter as it does not need to fit into the case anyway. It fits in to the device perfectly.

Mine came all squashed (probably delivery thing..) I did some work with my dryer and it helped a little but it still looks ugly.

Physical buttons (Power, volume) are covered by the case and it makes buttons little more difficult to push, but its doable.

It protects the back of the phone without a worry (of course.. its fully covered except for the camera..)

For the front, if I place my case on a flat surface it does lift up a little (1,2 mill?) so it doesnt let the screen to kiss the flat surface.

But really, its a jelly case. It does what you think it will do, and it doesnt do what you think it wont do.

Please contact your vendor regarding the deformation, it can be resolved.

One of the other revies I saw elsewhere said this was bad and it took colour off the phone, which I haven't heard before.

Ordered one of these Wednesday night, just dropped through my letterbox (Friday morning).

Feels cheaper than my Nilkin case, really sticky rubbery feel.

It fits pretty snug, though. Really snug. So snug it pushes on the power button sometimes preventing it from popping back up once pressed, sometimes pressing itself. I'm going to have to take a knife to it and make a little slit to ease some of the pressure.

All in all, if you're not too fussed and want something quick and cheap, get this. If you're after a little more luxury I wouldn't bother.

My girlfriend's Blade should arrive later today. She never wanted a case anyway, says it made the phone feel ugly. She is going to hate this.

Got a grey Sofiz case for number 2 Blade and I am very happy with it. It is better than the case on number 1 Blade that I got in January and I have added a carbon fibre effect mini Android sticker to both phones which is much better imo than the large green android I had on Blade number 1.

In theory maybe, but I don't think there have been reports of it happening with other phones such as iphones and they have had cases for years.

As I said before ,the case with the cloth and screen protector would have earned a 5 star review,on its own the case becomes a little expensive.

my sofiz case arrived yesterday and was ok; no crushing etc during transit.

nilkin v sofiz

the fit is really good as others have said before, it does cover slightly more of the bottom of the phone than my nilkin one so maybe a more secure fit [although i have not had a problem with the nilkin one on this issue] = draw.

as i stated before on another post the nilkin case needed cutting with a pair of nail scissors to make the usb hole larger as the cable/connector would not push in. the sofiz case does not need this done = 0 - 1.

the on/off button is covered a bit better with the sofiz case but i feel that this means a more accurate or firmer press is needed to activate the screen = 1 - 1.

my nilkin is smoked grey and uniform in colour whereas the sofiz is clear/grey with the 'honey comb' pattern. i like the look of both but perhaps the sofiz shades it for me = 1 - 2.

the overall feel of the two cases is definately different for me. the sofiz feels very smooth and almost like plastic. the nilkin feels slightly rough to touch and as such feels more secure and safe when using the phone one handed = 2 - 2.

the prices; nilkin with 2 screen protectors and a cleaning cloth £4.95 from amazon. sofix was £3.52 direct = draw i think.

so it is a draw in the end for me.. i have 2 cases so have a spare :mellow:

it is obviously very much a personal thing as to which one any of you guys/gals prefer. i am now awaiting somebody to do a pretty decent leather flip case like the one i have on my nokia so that the screen is well protected :o

Well I finally got the Exspect case from play.com. On first impressions, it's really smart, kinda like a wetsuit and should protect the phone well. After a few days use though, I've found it looks really grubby. Dirt just seems to stick to it! Unless you have ultra clean pockets, a jelly case will probably look better.

I'm currently looking for a decent case for my new Blade. Out of the Sikai and Sofiz case, which one is the best for a Blade that is kept in a pocket? And which one is the nearest colour to the grey Blade? Cheers.

EDIT: Is it worth buying some of those CF Android stickers that are being sold on Ebay to cover the Sofiz logo with? (Are they any good?)

got my black sikai case today and i'm really pleasantly surprised at the quality of it. feels good and sturdy to the touch and it's a good fit without being too loose. also managed to get one of the screen protectors on with zero air bubbles underneath (which i never manage to do usually !!) so it's all good.

just have to wait for my 16gb microsd card to turn up next week and i'll be v. happy :P

Yes, they do, don't affect their performance though. Cover the sensors and the phone display shuts off when calling and buttons light up when covered/in the dark.

I have the sofif case. Unfortunatly, mine was misformed at the bttom when I got it. I treid everything, but i cant get it to normal. Since then I tried contacting Sohogopher, but never got a reply. I find this very strange, since I also included photo's with how it looks.

Still i dedided to use it, but now I'm getting more and more frustrated with it because my blade now acts as a dirt collector. And on a white blade.. that's pretty visible.

It's really a shame sohogopher never answered my mail, and after 2 mails, a third one won't solve it either I think

So I am going to order a nilkin case soon, and hope this one arrives just fine.
