Hi, I had my phone stolen by a pickpocket in a club the other day (was just a £20 thing!) so I've went ahead and bought an Orange San Francisco. I'm a bit more concerned about security now after that incident so I am looking for a pouch, case or anything that I can attach a lanyard to so I can attach the phone to my belt when I'm out. I don't like the look of the cases with belt hoops and I'd prefer to keep the phone in my pocket rather than on my belt anyway. I just want an easy way to attach it to a string or whatever to hook on my belt.

I've looked around Google but it's difficult to find a suitable pouch or case and you guys sound like experts on these things so can anyone help me?

yes the best is to put the phone in your front jeans pocket. everything hanging on your belt(or in back pocket like wallet), will be stolen.

what u can do, is attach a cord line around the jelly case, and attach the other extremity to your jeans.

Sadly my old phone was stolen out the front pocket lol.

But yeah I do plan to do it like you suggested. What I need is a suggestion for a jelly case or something with a loop that I can attach a lanyard to. Just after a simple case where I can still use the phone while its inside.

Looks the same to me (shame they only have blue but I'm sure that will soon change), £4.99 with free delivery too instead of £5.99 via Timeblast (lilamfashions).

I'd say Sikai simply for the extra protection. Also, I've noticed that the other ebay seller does have different colours, they're just not listed as 'Sikai'. However, if you check the images they are all Sikai.

No one got a suggestion for my query? I really want to get something sorted as soon as possible. I'm afraid to take it out at night now without some form of security.

Will the Sikai cases be strong enough if I punch another hole through it (or use an existing hole) and attach some string? I'm not planning to use it 24/7, only getting a case for security in certain situations.

To be honest, having bought both a nillkin, sikai and a sofiz (two of them from lilamfashions) i can say that the nillkins and the sikais have a extra hole (on the bottom of the nillkin opposite side to the mic hole there is a hole for a lanyard, and at the back of the sikai where there is two holes to put a lanyard). The sofiz doesn't have this feature but it is still a quality case. Now if you think 7-14 working days is a long time for delivery (which frankly i agree) i would just buy from lilamfashions who has got the biggest choice of cases for the san francisco in terms of colours and brands. They ship within 24 hours and from their ratings it arrives within a day or two, and was the case in my experience too.

From what i see of cakasob2010, he is a china seller who is dropshipping to the uk and then asking someone/some service to post onwards for him (like sohogopher was doing in the past and so stock may not always be available and looking at cakasobs2010's listing description: it states We needed 2-3 days to handle your orders as usual. but at the weekend, we needed 1 more days to do it so that means it is also not posted within 24 hours but a day or so after then plus the 1-3 days for royal mail to do its job) and funnily enough whilst reading lilamfashions feedback i saw that cakasob2010 has brought from lilam fashions?! am i missing something here? My assumption is that they ran out of stock and brought from a rival but i could be wrong... Also as a uk seller maybe there are additional costs which may why they are slightly more expensive?

Lastly on the topic of paying over the odds... i wonder iwho was the person who bought from cakasob on his pink sikai listing

Whatever cakasob2010's methods are they seem to be getting the goods out very quickly as their ebay feedback mostly states fast delivery. So the simply fact is until Timeblast can lower his prices these guys are the better option.

Cakasob is a big no for me. I ordered a Nilkin case from him and the package never reached me! In spite of saying he will send a replacement, he never did and sent me a tracking number (supposedly for the replacement) which showed a date 20 days before he agreed to ship the replacement! The tracking number he gave me was China Post, so the royal mail thing is a big fail. I opened a dispute in Ebay and he refunded the whole money, when I mentioned it to Ebay that he sent me using China Post when he promised Royal Mail.

I'm scared to buy from any of these Chinese sellers now, the post they use seems to be too dodgy for my liking.
