Guest Echo30 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 (edited) I was using the Samsung SMS application and a notice came in about sending feedback to Microsoft. At the top bar the icon for it was a box with a checkmark in it. It asked if I wanted to send feedback, I said no. But then instead of just closing it brought up a notice that I may have updates available for my device. And then said to connect to a PC to find out. Since I'm one of the lucky ones and my installation CD didn't work, I can't do that. The notice just came up out of the blue. I'm a stickler for not having multiple apps running so there was no way I accidentally pushed something. Anyone know what that was? Edited October 4, 2010 by Echo30
Guest urphonesux Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 ...............which rom are you using again?
Guest Echo30 Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Stock 6.5 Professional on an i8000. I'm with Bell in Canada. Also forgot to mention that afterwards I went to the "update windows" menu item in settings and it still cannot connect.
Guest Echo30 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I went to the Windows site and got all set up with my computer etc. Not sure if I checked properly, but there are no updates. Well, there's that daylight savings time thing, but I'm pretty sure that's been there since 2007 (I used to have an HTC Touch and it said that way back then).
