Guest Cobble Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Sounds pretty normal tbh. I never get a 3 signal at home, so I'm always roaming when there. Have you been able to make calls and send texts when you're roaming?

Have you been able to make calls and send texts when you're roaming? Yeh I can call and everything...just seems strange that now the signal is gone from a place where I normally have signal? And it has been like this since midday?
Guest Cobble Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 (edited) It may come back later. Everything would appear to be working as normal tbh. It's stop roaming when it picks up a 3 signal again. Edited October 6, 2010 by Cobble
Guest ought Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 I used to have my 3 sim in a Windows Mobile phone and I had my browser homepage set to the three page that let me automatically find out remaining minutes, data usage etc. I did not need to login or anything, it could work it out from my phone number. But that address does not seem to work on the SF. Does anybody know the URL I should use? Thanks!

I am using this, try setting this as your home page: http://mobile3.three.co.uk/837_se/prePayFreeUnits.do
Guest jt! Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 I am using this, try setting this as your home page: http://mobile3.three.co.uk/837_se/prePayFreeUnits.do That link just kicks me to a page where it asks me if i want a free sim. hmmm.
Guest abbas_sheikh Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 try http://mobile.three.co.uk/hb/singleurl then click on My3 Account then Balance and free stuff. Bookmark it and set it your home page. Hope this helps.
Guest ezablade Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 That link just kicks me to a page where it asks me if i want a free sim. hmmm. It seems that some pages are available over 3G, others wi-fi too. If you go to http://mobile.three.co.uk over wi-fi you get a page asking you to join 3, but, over 3G it recognises you and allows access to your My3 page, with details of balances / allowances.

Guest jt! Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 (edited) Ok, i may have been a little premature. This image from the orange manual isnt very useful. I was looking for a little H in my status bar, just noticed i have a 3G+ logo instead.... which isn't on their list. good manual. Also found the phone status page in settings which shows Mobile network type as HSDPA. So all is sorted i think. Ta. x EDIT: new question, google mail app doesn't seem to be pushing emails, requires a manual refresh, this seems odd? Edited October 7, 2010 by jt!
Guest cocole Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 i'm not able to connect to the internet can someone post working APN settings for 3?
Guest waj1234 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 I have the settings in the phone like they are meant to be but MMS do not send at all. Data/internet etc work fine but just no MMS, not that I send em very often but it would be nice if they worked.
