I had my phone on overnight listening to a podcast. I wake up this morning to the find the thing dead. I've plugged it back in to the charger to no avail, the phone won't turn on and the battery won't charge...

Anyone else experienced this? Is it a conincidence I'm getting my number transfered today?

Just after I unlocked and flashed it too :)

Remove the battery and plug the phone in, see if it powers up on mains power only. If it does then let it boot into Android and plug the battery back in whilst still on charge. It should force the phone to start charging the battery.

Might be, but sometimes when the phone runs out it takes up to 30 min before it shows that it is charging.

Mine did something weird last night too!

When I checked it this morning it had 1143pm as the time and within a few seconds of unlocking it , it crashed and rebooted then was extremely slow with android system taking 94% CPU

After a little while all was fine again.

Does android do a filesystem check hence the high CPU?

My xperia x10 mini pro did exactly the same thing! I was loading it for a very long time but it wouldn't start.. Tried two power adapters with the same results. But when i plugged it in to the PC it suddenly booted up!
