Guest mt6622 Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 What do I need to do to build.prop? It's not in the first post and this forum doesn't have a "Search Thread" feature :) If you search on google for androot and install on phone, then from the market install root explorer, if you go to post 202 and download build.text and then change to build.prop then upload to phone and use root explorer to copy this file into system folder then reboot phone

Camera is working fine now.
Guest mzsigler Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Is it just me, or is mount not working correctly in adb shell? Trying to remount /system in shell to change a few things, I used: mount -o remount,rw /system I get a syntax message as if I've entered something wrong or used the wrong format, but I don't see anything wrong with my command. In fact it works on my linux computer, my mac, and my nexus one, lol.
Guest vinokirk Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 (edited) mount -o remount rw /system No comma in adb :) Edited October 9, 2010 by vinokirk

Guest mzsigler Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 mount -o remount rw /system No comma in adb :) WTF! It works with a comma on my N1. Both on 2.2, same version of busybox, etc. Odd. Thanks though ;)

Guest andycqos Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Updated to 2.2 with no problems at all - ridiculously easy :) However, when I did a batch restore with Titanium things started to go wrong. Everything started to force close. I think it must have restored some 2.1 system apps and 2.2 didnt like it! So, I reflashed and went through the app list to only restore apps Id downloaded. So far, so good. Although, it didnt restore any SMS messages or Touchdown, but I can live with that. Oh, and camera is broken for me too, but I havent tried the modified build.prop
Guest Stephen Hyde Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 wifi-3g switch works ok here now and ive herd other say same
Guest BiboTheClown Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Hi, First of all, thanks a lot Stephen for your work, and thanks to all Streak community for their support ! I've installed froyo beta with qdltool before the zip package was released, and the installation worked perfectly. I've patched the build.prop with your tweaks, cleared dalvik cache, removed the package checker app, but I still have two little issues that I didn't see mentionned in this thread : - G-sensor : sometimes (yeah, not always, not with the same apps, and even with the same app, not at the same moment...) the G-sensor seems to stop responding. I reboot the streak, the Gsensor is working fine but when I start Labyrinth or tricorder, the Gsensor stop responding... - Camera : even when I switch the video format to 720p, either in mp4 or h264, I only get a 352x288 video output, in 3gp format... Same for anybody else ? Any idea ? Cheers
Guest Stephen Hyde Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 gsensor ive heard of but try getting logs if pos
