Managed t o get "Android 1.0" error on device manager by updating the device to "USB composite Device".

Device manager refreshed it self and there the android 1.0 pop up lol

Anyone having issues with touch screen? Or is it just me?

Sometimes I am unable to unlock. Cant even shut it down (this requires touch functionality as well)

Try calibrating the screen by holding volume buttons when booting (as if you were going to fastboot).

GPS still a problem. I go to google maps and hit "my location". it searches for about 30 secs then comes back "your current location is temporarily unavailable". i did this 6-7 times to see if it needs to settle down but still no luck. Ive tried rebooting the phone 4-5 times to see if that helps but still nothing. Other then this issue the new 2.2 is a beast. everything about it is sleak and smooth. this is the reason i bought the streak and it potential is finally being reliased with 2.2. if anyone can provided help with the GPS (without re-flashing) id really appreciate it. its not the be all and end all but it would put the cherry on the cake! lol.

Also just want to share this website that i found on the streak that makes 2.2 and especially flash player on it all worth while. http://www.footballstreaming.info/streams/tpdays-links/

its a peach for watching live sport on the streak. just use a browser link and job done.

Updated from 2.1 to the Froyo Beta 1 build last night and everything is great but i've lost all my cell data. Cant text, no 3g, dosent even show its own number. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Any advice on getting Google Voice to work? And what about those other market apps?

I'm not sure if this is the latest version but it does work on the new load. GV is supposed to be in the market but I can't find it yet. This is version 0.3.0. rename .zip to .pkg. Maybe someone has a newer version.

drop back to 2.1 using the update.pkg route and reupdate

I've tried to sift through all of the Market questions but don't see a definitive answer. Any idea why Tasker wouldn't show up in the Market for me? I'm using the latest 2.2 build on a US AT&T Streak. I tried changing the location from GB to US in my build.prop but then I couldn't connect to the Market at all. Just got a "network error" message.

Hi all.. One quick question I am not clear on (after reading the whole thread). If I already updated to 2.2 (beta 1), how do I update to beta 2? Directly using the clockworkmod on 2.2, or do I have to go back to 2.1, and then go back to 2.2 again? If so, how to I go back to 2.1 after being on 2.2? By the way, I always used the clockworkmod method, no flashing of baseband....

--the icon is too small - i did change lcd density to 180 , but look like not standard , and over and wording look like blur , and as fine as lcd = 160 ( but icon too small , because we are in 5 inch lcd , we expect better view than iphone and htc desire )

on your home page, press menu button, Press ADWSettings, Screen Preferences

and then change desktop columns and rows. That might help. Mess around with the ADWSettings until you get what you like though on the resolution that you like. I'm on lcddensity 160 with 6 columns and 6 rows. very nice looking.

Steve i have been having trouble connecting to WPA/WPA2 PSK wifi network it just dont even show the network on beta 1 where i was on the 2.1 rom it showed fine tonight i have just updated to beta 2 so when i go to work tommorow fingers crossed its gonna show this time will report back but something was definetly not wright as i tried formating many times going back to 2.1 and then back to froyo still the same so hope this update works. I dont know if you can emutate a WPA/WPA2 PSK network and try for yourself or if anyone here on the forums has this type of network to try can report here thanks.

I had the same issue, lost the ESPN FFL App during 2.1 update, then got it back but lost Tasker in 2.2 update...Titanium Backup is worth the time, and money if you choose to donate. I tried US and ATT in the build.prop in 2.1, no affect (other than Gmail changing to Google Mail and back). In 2.2 I went with just the US identifier, wiped Dalvik, rebooted, and at least the "Featured" apps are back to US based one's (appears they have separate featured apps for US and UK I'm speculating). I didn't change the model from O2 to ATT this time. I think there are still issues with the market that are indeed being worked on, something about the ROM fingerprint.

I've had issues off and on as well. At home it appears if I edit the existing "network" in my remembered list and change Auto to WPA/WPA2 PSK it seems to work better. At work I've had issues, even though it's an "open" network, but I think that's b/c I messed with the APN Scheduling and didn't set my peak hours correctly. The wording is awfully weird..
