Okay, I REALLY NEED SOMEONE'S HELP.

Firstly, I am very new to all this so please bear with me.

I spent the whole of last night trying to upgrade to 2.2 from 2.1 - the number of things I did are countless.

Somehow, I got it to work and I am now on 2.2 version 1, the newest update.

I have no phone signal, no camera and I want to go back to 2.1 éclair.

I can't use the 2.1 update.pkg because I have clockworkmod recovery...

About phone (the streak is rooted)

Model number - "Dell Streak"

Android version - "2.2"

Baseband version - "Unknown"

Kernel version - "2.6.32.9-perf"

OEM Version - "Froyo Release Version 1 By DJ_Steve"

Build number - "Froyo Version 1.0 By DJ_Steve"

Can someone please give me instructions on how to DOWNGRADE to 2.1, and please include download links.

If this works I will make a huge donation to this site.

yes I have read that but the link for the rar file which contains a recovery for downgrading is broken so I don't know what to do...

the recovery img is attached to this post for ya - its the stock recovery that is needed to flash .pkg files

he is the only builder , listen all of us voice and reply each by each,

keep us every minute update and debug

Only a suggestion but maybe you should have a quick breeze through this thread, the answer to your problems with 2.2 will be here

somewhere. Now Stephen has finished the new update your camera will be fine.

For me, getting rid of 2.2 now would be like throwing out my PC and buying a Commodore Vic 20!
