Guest Cue_32 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) baseband will be reflashed by dells update anyway, and the new bb will stop random flashing lights and in theory could improve batetry Will this affect Unlocked AT&T Beta units in anyway? I doubt it... And will this, in theory, help with the network connection speed? If I flash nobaseband now, can I flash the baseband and try newbaseband ROM should I opt to try that out? Guest Graysson Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Which file is for people not using a rebel sim card? I do not want to flash the wrong one. I have the free european version of the Streak.
Guest Cue_32 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 STATUS: AT&T Beta running V1.1.1 Flashed NoBaseband update via Koush recovery (the usual for Froyo) Did a full wipe before flashing new ROM Flashed and during bootup before Flashing Dell Logo, 3 lights blink Did a Factory Reset Still boot loop, and flashing light. Gonna try flashing ROM again... will keep you posted
Guest jnovello Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 So the new baseband has not been rooted yet right? If I'm not using rebel sim and don't need root at the moment, is there any disadvantage not flashing the baseband?
Guest Stephen Hyde Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 rebelsim needs to update the sim for it to work with baseband, no huge changes really
Guest Cue_32 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 tried flashing the baseband but no dice... Stored the baseband file in the Root of SD. From both fastboot.exe location and fdastboowindows.exe locations. C:\Android\tools>fastboot -i 0x413c flash amss amss.mbn error: cannot load 'amss.mbn' C:\Superboot>fastboot-windows.exe -i 0x413c flash amss amss.mbn error: cannot load 'amss.mbn' retried flashing 1.2 no baseband and still bootlooping. Any suggestions? Flashing light then Dell Logo Bootloop Where do we store the baseband file? Root or any particular folder?
