Hi Stephen

Many thanks again for the regular updates, its always exciting to see a new release. I have an unlocked UK direct from dell streak on 3UK network. Just upgraded from v1.1.1 to 1.2 super smooth as usual.

I upgraded my baseband fine then the main update went smoothly no wipe needed. I am on a virgin 10mb connection on both downloads maxed out my 10mb.

Thanks again!

(ADW set as default for me that dell ui is not to my taste hehe but its good we get a choice. Yikes the default LCD density looks terrible to me now. Going to have to tweak that back to your prev setting)

I have an Android Phone with an Android ADB-Interface in my device manager.

When i reconnect the phone the entry reappears.

But i still get the same error like before.

Sorry if this seems a bit noobish, but I'm not sure how to get into adb shell. Do I connect via fastboot and then run it?

As of now, when I run adb from fastboot, I get either device not found, or a protocol fault.

I am getting -i is not a recognized command when I do

-i 0x413c flash amss amss.mbn ...must be doing something wrong

just had a thought there is not a fastboot.exe

so do I have to type fastboot-windows ??

Hi Stephen

I updated my baseband and then updated the rom. then did a factory restore but the streak will not load! It stays at the dell logo after the animated one!

I waited 10min. but still no luck! Then I flashed it again and did the restore again! still no luck!

Ideas?

I have the same issue! I have flashed the baseband and rom twice with no luck. Any ideas?

After a couple of reboot and wipe data/factory reset.

It boots correctly.

So, now, I reinstall my favorite applications, but it failed...

It says that "no space left on device" or somethings like that.

gj Steve once again,

updated baseband and the zip and it booted fine until i wiped data, then i got the endless boot problem,

which is now fixed by doing the ADB shell commands,

all is good now :). although i do have a few probs with xscope Force closing..

but hey everythings fine, the stage UI is nice.

Run device manager , double check if there is any drivers unknown which need installation and in this case , your streak ....

yes you need usb and use adb from the dell logo screen not fastboot.

Guest johnnobts

i can't do the adb shell commands to fix the streak without first being able to boot up right? only run fastboot. so, don't i need to reinstall the previous 2.1 baseband, reinstall 1.1 or something, then run the adb commands, and try again? also, can i get a link to previous 2.1 baseband?
