It depends on what sound you are talking about. Yes volume max level can be modified in kernel. Concerning sound louder in stock rom, that is wrong for sure but it look s like some notification sound are recorder at lower level than others.

What sound are you talking about ?

I also find that the volume from my headphones could use a notch or two up...

Ok i will have a look at this. planned to work on UI full customization but will work on WiFi first. If you have the problem and are able to test during the next few hours, please tell me (as i unfortunately don't have the problem. I think I have solved it but must confirm)

Malez have you found a solution to the problem?

Volume for media, like Music (from speaker)

It must the same volume as in stock rom or even higher. I will have a look a sound fitlering

Malez you're my hero! *_* (and the whole LCR Team, of course =) )

Can you tell me which files I have to edit to associate an android behaviour to a specific softkey instead?

I.E. I'd like to make it so that when I long-press on the search key, by default the screen locks up (this is just an example).

I'd be thankful for any help and short explanation :P

Anyway great work *-*

Hard keys are mapped in /system/usr/keylayout/a1-keypad.kl

for soft key you will have to write you own launcher application or ask ADW or Launcher pro for an enhancement request. It would really be intersting.

Malez, I've to report you some things about LCR Settings (probably you have already seen them):

Touch sensitiviy: if you customize it and apply on boot, it isn't applied on boot but returns to 20/50

Add option to push a bootanimation.zip directly from LCRSettings/bootanimation folder

Switch between cameras: i've seen you included two cameras apk, but we can't switch between them

Touch sensitivity is applied on boot, you have to read the text at the top screenn. Status is written in it. First preset is the one selected by default for applying.

Option to add a boot animation is interesting but require a bit of coding, please open an enhancement request so i remember it

http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-lcr-s...ngs/issues/list

Camera swithing only exist in LCR-E

Well...maybe it's a bug...if i go to lcr settings>touch sensitivity and select the third option inserting custom values, after i select apply and then apply on boot, when i reboot the phone it resets to the second, lcr default sensitivity.

I'll add bootanimation to bugtracker.

I thought about camera switch because there is a CameraStream.apk and CameraLiquid.apk in a lcrsettings' folder, maybe you forgot them

I have set a custom value 21/40, apply apply and boot adn when i have rebooted values were still applied. What is written for you in the status textbox in touchscreen sensitivity for you ?

You are right for the file, i have forgotten to delete them, will do it in 1.1 patch installation since there are useless

THAT looks NICE!!! Comes out looking like Acer UI4 with ADW (but with status bar on top like vanilla)

is there any chance the problem with the "stock theme" disabling froyo apps2sd will be fixed?

Wonderful! just wwonderful.

I'm not a fan of acer UI. Oonly thing I love are this (and I love it pretty much) and also the unlock screen.

You really do a great job.

Many people will wait your 1. 1...

Are there any plans to add DPSmanager in to the ROM?

I did try download the .zip update for DPS manager, but it just made the ROM unbootable.

Hello Malez.

I don't want to hustle you, but IMO it would be better if there was more updates.

LCRF-1.0 came with little defaults, so will 1.1... and 1.2... etc...

I mean, don't try to give it perfect to us, it's impossible.

I'd prefer that you provide an update at each improvement.

What do you think about it ?

1.0 isn't so buggy (for me).

I prefer fewer updates if more stable and well tested.

Some guys gives a good rating if apps had an update each day. I don't understand this.

I app is stable and doesn't need new functions, why spending time on useless update, just to change an icon or a text?

And for the dev guy, it's a nightmare with users running on 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 beta or 1.4 alpha... Each version having own functions and bugs.

And 1.1 will be a great one !

It's not buggy, but it always can be improved.

1.0 has been very well tested, but still there are some minor bugs encountered by users (the best testers).

Updates are not useless, or Malez wouldn't plan on updating, are you sure it doesn't need new functions ?

What I mean is, if every time Malez is about to release it, someone comes and report a new problem or request an improvement... maybe it's better to release the update and leave some work for the next one.

First time I heard about patch 1.1, it was for freeing some ram for "tweaks" settings to work, then translations, then UI customization...

I'm not complaining, requesting or stating anything, it's just an idea, my opinion, and I'd like to know everyone's opinion.

About alphas and betas, I don't understand. An update is not meant to be a standalone version.

The LCR-F 1.0 is just perfect for me as it is now.

I miss only Acer UI and if Malez could try (as I think he's doing now =) ) to customize that UI or divide it into individual apk at least, I would find this rom as the Perfect Rom =D

There are as many views on this as there are users. LCR-Team has made available patches and fixes to LCR-F 1.0. in the 3 weeks its been available. Thats alot in my mind.

Help the devs out and they will help you!

That said I love regular updates, but our devs have families, jobs, and school, lets keep motivating em'.

This LCR-F 1.0 is awesome. But the LCR-F 1.1 screenshot is providing another surprise.

I've been dreaming of 1.1 on my Liquid E. Please let me know when is it available.

Good job

That is exactly what i did. Splitting all part and let user chose them or not. System part is not yet fully finished (I have to fix calendar acess and songs control when using android UI with the acer widget lock screen). Then i will integrate all the configuration setting part in lcr settings (maybe one more day of coding).

I know it is a long time since you are waiting for a patch but i would like to finish this as i feel i am really near to the goal and d not want to provide 1.1 just for bettery and smoth and 1.2 days later.
