Guest Piter1225 Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Nice :) I guess it's time for me to try it out. I'm still on leaked stock. It's really better than pure stock, worth trying :)
Guest malez Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Nice :) I guess it's time for me to try it out. I'm still on leaked stock. It is not a full rom, it it a patch. So flash LCR-F 1.0 first, then the patch (no need to reboot beetwenn flashes). On first market run, all your apps will be updated so it will take time and battery but it is normal (wifi recommended) Full 1.1 will be provided later with updated apps.
Guest marcolino123 Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 This patch need wipe or not?
Guest compman Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Hi Malez - Just a quick question. Need to flash latest bin or not ? Since I'm still using 05.01.04 baseband. Thank you for brilliant work :)

Guest malez Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 This patch need wipe or not? You can wipe if you want to restart with a clean rom but it is not required (it is a patch)

Maybe I'm doing something wrong.... Try to reapply your changes. When saving UI config, your sdcard need to be writable by system (so not mounted on a computer for exemple).
Guest Master_T Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Try to reapply your changes. When saving UI config, your sdcard need to be writable by system (so not mounted on a computer for exemple). Nope, tried two more times, no luck, it just boots into normal LauncherPro, with no bubbles and no acer launcher.
Guest vanisleguy1976 Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Flashed the patch, placed bubble notifications at the top (this is the only Acer UI feature I really liked), and it looks and works great! I was a bit worried at first, because I was swiping down on the screen and nothing was happening. Rebooted a few times and tried again. Then through trial and error, I realized that you don't swipe... You just press on the notification bar and it drops down. Awesome!
Guest mmick Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Malez, what about the battery vs. the Acer leaks? Is it at least equal on same conditions? The v1.0 had worse battery.
