If you are talking about google translation for exemple, it is a common bug seen on other devices too (tested on galaxy S too). The reason is that google does not use pico but espeak. In older version of google translation (not today as i have tested right now), the package was not found because google did not put the right pname package and was not able to find it on market. So to install it we had to Open market, Apps, Software libray, top free, espeak and it worked. You will find other TTS library in the same category of market

i have espeak installed, and activated.

but still apps direct me to the market to install pname:com.google.tts

installing the apk from the googlecode page installed a 2nd espeak alongside the market one, which does seem to work though.

I am not sure but i think mine was not working too in low sensitivity (maybe calibration) I went in Settings / Calling settings / advanced and set to high and everything is ok

Checked and my proximity sensor was turned off!! HEHE  Thanks!

It says my SD card is damaged but I could still do a nandroid restore.

With the latest bin it worked fine though.

First boot when enabling apps2sd takes a long time. If you see blinking eyes, dalvik cache build is in progress. If you phone reboot, here you have a problem.

As i have told, it an issue of the application, not the rom. See my first post about this to install TTS library. What application are you trying to use ?

Hi all, first thanks to all the great devs that make my phone what is it today!!

Problem - I'm trying to run 1.1.1 patch over 1.1.

When trying to flash from recovery I get the following message:

E:Can't open /dscard/LCR-F_1.1.1._patch-signed.zip

(bad)

Installation aborted

Unmount FS in main menu and retry

I do unmount the system and retry but same error.

Tried redownloading but same result.

Any insight?

Thanks!

Malez, i have a problem...

Today is third time (since 1 of november) that my SD did "damaged" by the rom...

I had last leak (but in the past the other one) and LCR 1.0 (and one time 1.1), SD 8gb class 2 with old app2sd.

i don't know what happen but when liquid reboots there is a chance that the OS says "sd damaged" and i can't read the files on it. Sometimes, like today or the last one, all is repaired with no touch of myseld after few hour, but i lost some apps e date...

Do you know what can be the problem? The class 2?

Thanks.

Hmm... it seems like LCR-F 1.1.1 really sucks up my battery.

Any idea?? Typical usage like my last time, turn on WiFi, it will time out and all those.

I would say sdhc 8go + class 2 ==> long time to scan and check for errors

Um... how does I know if appstosd worked? Lcr settings says that it worked but internal memory shrinks when I install new apps, no difference to internal memory when I move apps to sd whith titanium either (internal memory checked in system).

Now the problem is another... and it's amazing.

I have this sd that i can't use in pc or in other device (it appears to be formatted) but in the liquid, after 3-4 minutes of wait, says SD damaged but all program works (ALL) and the only big problem is that i cannot use sd to put mp3, video or other on it. But it's strange... i suppose ext3 is ok now but not fat32...

Can i format it in the pc without lose ext3 partition?

Somehow I found a bug.

While the LauncherPro seems to be much more smoother on landscape mode, I tried setting a live wallpaper in landscape mode to see if it's any better.

Then the size is all weird, firstly it's small, if rotated back to portrait mode it's partially gone

hi malez, waz wondering for future roms if you could include "Brut Mod" navigation. cheers

It was included when navigation what not enabled everywhere by google. Now it is. Could you explain me what would be the advantage of using the hacked version instead of the official/automatically updated one ? (Maybe i am missing some information)

i am in australia, and without the hacked version navigation cannot be used, when start navgation says this service not avialble in your area or something like that...

but no big problem as your LCR facility allow me to uninstall google maps and i can just install Brut Mod myself .... thanks for considering

normal behaviour.

never set wallpapers in landscape mode, android bases wallpapers on the current resolution.

480x800 or 800x480 can make a big difference.
