Hello malez, thanx again for all the great work. Just a couple of fast questions. a) Is it advisable/better to update to the newest rom b4 upgrading to 1.1.2 and B ) if I stick to 4.504b and 1.1 that I have now, can I go directly to 1.1.2, thus skuipping the 1.1.1? cheers

1.1.2 does not wipe data on phone

BUT

do backups first!!!

Nandroid and Titanium Backup (and I use app brain to cloud too) to your SD card them copy to Home computer, takes a minute and saves MANY headaches later on.

so far the best rom (afte 1.1.2 patch), now battery last forever !

and also speed is not bad, unfortunately the ram isn't enough

for my need, many apps running together, but this is not rom fault :rolleyes:

Just have a bugging issue with my liquid - I can't change the theme nor do a nandroid backup from LCR Settings... Either one of the actions will result in a failed reboot and I have to remove the battery to be able to boot again, removing any changes made.

Which version of Malez Recovery are you running? 6.0 wouldn't do the nandroid backup from the LCR menu, but with 6.1 it works like a charm directly from LCR.

I used 6.1 with the easy installer :/ doesn't work for me tho...

If I change theme, it'll try to reboot - gets to where it says "acer" and goes pitch black doin nothing. And I think it was the same with trying nandoid as well.

I got 1.1.2 installed and working great except for one thing. My top status bar shows a sync icon constantly (circular arrows icon). It just won't go away! lol.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Hey devs of LCR, I'm here again to report a strange problem...

I turned on WiFi, had my dinner and played around with the app called "A World of Photo"

I got my hands dirty so I didn't mess around with the phone later on.

After my dinner, I got back to my phone and the time to wake up is extremely long, then the SD card says it's safe to remove and the phone soft restarts, all the way back from the boot image.

It happened yesterday too when I was on Google Talk with Morris Lee and I went away from the phone a while and when I go back it's stuck at the boot image.

Running on LCR-F 1.1.2 on Liquid E

EDIT : Rebooted, the camera stopped working instantly

i have a litle problem, i patch version 1.1.2 and now anytime wenn i start gps apps (navigation) my handy anytime reboot,

version 1.1 works perfect ........

Had this problem due to restoring my accounts from Titanium backup. The only solution I found was to wipe the device then setup my accounts again manually. You can do a Titanium backup before you wipe (and a Nandroid backup just to be safe), then wipe, then setup your accounts, the restore the rest of your apps and settings from your Titanium backup. It's the account settings that seem to be problematic.

If you didn't restore your account with Titanium, then I don't know what the issue is but the wipe procedure above will most likely fix it.

Ok, I seemed to have solved it myself. Apparently I had flashed the vache port for dsp last evening. I flashed 1.1.2 this morning and got stuck at boot. So I reverted back to the orignal libaudioflinger and reflashed 1.1.2 . My system finally booted!

UPDATE: flashed the dsp update.zip on top of 1.1.2 and it's working fine now.

Hi guys, a little report after 1 day usage.

Finally battery consumption is optimal. More then 1 day with few long call, many sms, gaming and wifi usage. Good job

It is fast, very fast to scroll the menu and the sdcard, but sometimes it is no so fast to start the programs.

Screen sensitivity is excellent, in some cases pherpas to sensible!!! I have to try different settings.

Wifi and BT work without any problems.

Best rom ever used!

Now only the FM radio is missing...

hi all, i have one problem, sometime i can't send sms, if i do *#*#4636#*#* and reenter sms number and reboot, then sms work, but not ever...

sometimes when i reboot use quick book, the phone go off but don't restart, i must remove the battery for restart.

at first day...the wi-fi can connect very fast when I press the wi-fi button (Power Control)

Restoring stock theme, everything seems ok...rom with this patch is even more fast and battery consumption low! Thanks to lcr team :rolleyes:

I also had a problem with battery drain with 1.1.2 using DesireTheme.. I uninstalled the acer widget overlay (i don't use acer ui) everything works fine.. 1d 20h still 33% battery (normal use).. With widgetoverlay, I had 3 services running, so I think they caused the problem
