Guest edhunter666 Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 Any point in flashing the new 4.002.14.EMEA.GEN1 bin over LCR-F? I mean since it's based on a previous leak.. Maybe a dumb question but...
Guest Harness Posted November 26, 2010 Report Posted November 26, 2010 I would, just cause I like having the latest and greatest, but, that's me. Personal choice.

Guest MisfitGeek Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 Now official 2.2 update is released from Acer, howdo we do for LCR? Simply flash over current version? Or is it better to wait for LCR update? Thanks!
Guest skakz Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 Could you open an enhancement request on google code please, so i see it when i will work on 1.2 Done.. thank you malez!!
Guest mangeh Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 (edited) Ok, I seemed to have solved it myself. Apparently I had flashed the vache port for dsp last evening. I flashed 1.1.2 this morning and got stuck at boot. So I reverted back to the orignal libaudioflinger and reflashed 1.1.2 . My system finally booted! UPDATE: flashed the dsp update.zip on top of 1.1.2 and it's working fine now. How did you do this revert? I have the same problem! Edit: Fixed it myself Edited December 1, 2010 by mangeh
Guest Intenso74 Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 I have a little problem... I accidentally destroyed my stock contacts app and dialer. I was browsing through LCR Settings' Tweaks menu, when i accidentally tapped the "AOSP dialer" button. It instantly started applying the tweak and instead of asking me to reboot, it rebooted by itself and since then my contacts app and dialer are gone. I can't uncheck the option, because it always stays unchecked (I get a "Unknown AOSP dialer" message whenever I open the Tweaks menu). I also tried checking the AOSP dialer again multiple times, but it never works. I'm using the official FroYo BIN for Liquid S100 (256MB). I want to restore my stock contacts app and dialer. Any suggestions? P.S. A confirmation message function in LCR Settings would be a nice and safe new feature to prevent this and other unwanted tweaks from happening when users tap the wrong icon.
Guest sede Posted December 1, 2010 Report Posted December 1, 2010 I won't install the new bin until the new community rom arrives. When will the new version be released?

Guest Intenso74 Posted December 1, 2010 Report Posted December 1, 2010 Okay, I restored my contacts and dialer (Thanks, ToLive). By the way, I can recommend you to install the new bin anyway. It's way faster and more stable as well. Battery life is excellent (Two days of average usage with about 10% left). Furthermore everything, except for the AOSP dialer, works fine. To the LCR team: PLEASE create a confirmation message function in LCR Settings. I really don't want to go through something like this again, or reboot twice for something I don't need (Or other people to experience that).
Guest Ximo F. Verde Posted December 1, 2010 Report Posted December 1, 2010 (edited) Hi all, congratulations to malez, vache and everyone on the LCR team for making our Liquids much more than what we bought. Just a couple of questions/comments/suggestions etc A) Compared to the 1st froyo leaks (on their own), LCR 2.2 on 4.504b is without doubt much smoother. Just one note.. While scrolling thru menus, webpages etc, (and after having spent quite some time with the ROM) i can tell that there´s a small ´hick-up´´ that takes place in fixed time intervals. Its not too much of a deal but it seems like something that can be corrected and not like a e.g hardware drawback. :D Youtube Mp4 playback is not totally smooth (as it used to be on official 2.1), not on browser´s embedded player, nor on youtube app. Not too much stutter, but noticeable and at times distracting. I cant explain why´s this, especially since the Snapdragon SoC supports hardware accelaration on h.264 C) Would it be possible for the notifications LEDs to blink in shorter time intervals? More like once every 1-2 secs maybe? Thats all for now, any suggestions/solutions welcome. Once again a huge thanx for all the great work LCR Team! EDIT: Yes, i am a smooth-scroll freak, but only when i feel things can improve :P Edited December 1, 2010 by Ximo F. Verde
Guest am5a03 Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 I'm waiting for the dolby mobile :P
Guest Chewy11 Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 I would like to see the next LCR-F optimized for the latest .bin...mostly for smoothness and stability, but most of all, for best battery use possible! Support the devs!

Guest magritte Posted December 2, 2010 Report Posted December 2, 2010 The touchscreen sensitivity settings now never automatically get applied after a boot. Does anyone know if there's a way I can fix this short of a factory reset? Thanks!
Guest hallandale Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 Hey all, I'm super new here, I've got an Acer Liquid E from Rogers as a backup phone (I've got a Captivate as my main). Right now my Liquid is running stock Froyo, but I'm looking to tinker around a bit with custom roms and such. Where do I start? I really have no idea, and I can't really find a guide anywhere, for someone that knows absolutely nothing. I've seen videos of LCR and it seems pretty cool, I'd like to start using it if possible! Thanks for your help.
Guest Chewy11 Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-malez...ki/howToInstall to start... then choose a ROM... then flash the correct .bin with Acer Tool 3.1 http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...act-collection/ Good luck, read the pinned topics in the Liquid thread...
Guest DasTisu Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 I might be stupid, but how do you get the theme manager?
