Guest fpbasilio Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Dear lcr people, maybe its time to update the "how to" section on your website as it seems outdated. maybe a step by step guide from stock android 1.6 to lcr-f. and stock androud 2.1 to lcr-f. just a suggestion.. peace!

Guest Intenso74 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Malez or Vache, can you give some kind of progress report on v2? Like: - Will it have OC kernel - Performance - Battery time - Tweaks/fixes - ETA? - Other changes Thanks for all of your great work!

The how to section seems just fine to me, don't really understand the issue! http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-commu...uidCommunityROM Just if I can add a question... I'm now under LCR 112 with the latest leak (not official acer 2.2). At this time all is fine so I'll only upgrade to next LCR (2?). But as I set the EXT2 partition on SD with all my apps, I'll need to know if there's a specific step or if there's things to avoid when upgrading. I spent time to set up my acer to work PERFECTLY now (thanks to LCR tweaks) and I sure didn't want to start from scractch. Thanks ! Please no "face/brain/eyes" things, we're not on a windows forum ;-)

Lcr-f 1.1.2 still is not based on top of the files of the 4.002.14 rom.. wipe dalvik-cache is necessary to avoid potential problems.. Edited December 15, 2010 by fear_factory84

Guest LiquidEr Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) how do I install lcr-F on my liquid E which has got the liquid froyo official update ? how can I make a fresh install ? delete everything on my phone and install LCR-F ? Edited December 17, 2010 by LiquidEr
Guest fear_factory84 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 I've found on xda a Gingerbread keyboard with multi-language prediction that works well on top of lcr-f. It's on this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...p;postcount=109 Malez, I've seen on twitter that you are searching a solution like this.. I'm using on my phone and it works well. There is only a bug (that can be found on all gingerbread keyboards on top of froyo I've tested). If I put the cursor inside an already inserted word I can choose other alternatives. Word instead of being replaced, the new word is inserted at the cursor (if I write "house", then I put the cursor after 'o', I can choose "houses" the result is "hohousesuse").
Guest Down to earth Swede Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) Houston, we've got a problem! For some reason, all the apps that I have "app2sd;ed" have stopped functioning(or seems to). I noticed it when I had problems starting up the phone with "Scandinavian keyboard" and "Titanium Backup" refusing to start. And loads of other things giving back errors. Seems like it partially went back to the default install where I get the screen where I am prompted to enter my gmail account (and language settings adn so on). This went away when I choosed to not do anything and also uninstalled "Scandinavian keyboard" (which almost stopped me from starting up the system). Anyway, seems like all the apps that I moved to SD are gone (or seems to be gone) from the drawer. Everything! I have both used the apps2sd from LCR (in the recovery) and also moved the rest with the application settings (the one that is the default for Froyo, I guess). What should I do? Guest Chewy11 Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 Happens to me too But I am on the 4.002.14 .bin and LCR1.1.2 is currently based on 4.504b.00, so such events are not unexpected. I use Appbrain, Titanium Backup and the Google cloud to make sure I dont loose the important stuff. My SD ext (with apps )seems to get wiped once in a while with the hard reboot events and sometimes in a soft reboot....all expected for me cuz I'm on the wrong bin...device works 100% tho otherwise with that .bin-ROM combo. When I run LCR-F 1.1.2 on the corect .bin....its perfect, no reboots, I recomend it. I undersatand LCR-F 2 will be based on 4.002.14 .bin....
Guest tc4101 Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 hi i tried this rom and also the mteal rom, and the new market place, the ratings seem to be broke.... can anything be done?

It works well. Now we will have to manage to free more space in order to integrate updates/tweaked apps
Guest krumbalu Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 the ratings are broken for me too must be a rom issue tough
