I think you only need to flash the latest official rom which is available from Acer.

Hi,

How can I simply check if my patch installation was successful or not? LCR-F 1.1.2 patch. What is definitely different after installing the patch?

I flashed the patch right after the rom itself, I did not do any install or customization on the phone in between so I have no idea whether something changed or not...

Thanks.

make sure you have the default theme enabled, and pull down your notification bar.

wallpaper still (somewhat)visible? 1.1.2

I did not modify the theme so I guess I'm running the default one. Yes, wallpaper/shortcuts are visible behind the notification bar background.

Well,then you're on 1.1.2 :(

I hoped but was not sure. :(

Is it possible to do a partial installation or if something (like this notification bar transparency) is proven then it is 100% installation for sure?

I know I'm asking too many questions but I just want to be sure I'm on the correct so I don't need to re-start the whole customization process.

And of course, thanks for the hints!

Next time, you could always go into the LCRSettings app and tap the "About" pane to get version information.

Sure, I know this.

I was just wondering if the installation was correct. I did not followed the "official" way and I doubt it worked perfectly. As you can see above my phone came back from the brick factory so I just try to check if it is fully healthy or still needs some medical. :(

I wonder if there is ever going to be a sort of update before gingerbread arrives as an OTA (to another phone)... you'd think it could be updated to get froyo to a 'final' finished version.

I want to see data2ext working good on our phones, the version by melathron looks best. Also, undervolt included in the overclock kernel.

The presence of "H" "3G" "E" or "G" does not mean that the data connection is active.

Data connection is active when there are arrows (lighted wich means "data transferring" o grayed "data inactive"), if there are no arrows the connection is not active.

This is because even if data is not active you see to which type of moble network you are connected.

There will be an update : LCR-F 2011.1 or LCR-F 2.0 (don't know the name)

What king of versionning do you feel would be the best ?

Gingerbread keyboard is included in next version version, same for gingerbread theme.

I don't face data2ext issues, could you give me more details please ?

LCR 2011.1 sounds nice to me, sweet to have GB theme :(

2.0 seems better, it would be more readable in case of patches in less than a month from the previous release :(

By default, theme will be the LCR one, but GB theme will we provided on sd and could be easily enabled via LCR Settings. (LCR Settings theme manager has been fixed)
