Guest jnemeth Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Hi, I did not update so far, I'm still on LCR-F 1.1.2 but I have a strange problem with my proximity sensor (?). When I take or make a call, screen stays on and after regular screen off time it goes dark, at the end of the call I need to "wake up" phone to be able to stop the call. It worked properly for some weeks after installing this rom and then simply started this behavior few days ago. Somebody with similar problem or idea? Thanks, J.
Guest malez Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Just a heads up, for me the camera was unable to take pictures when the tweak "Next song on camera" was enabled.. Strange.. Otherwise, good working ROM so far. You have to touch the screen when this tweak is enabled
Guest bellanano Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 malez, a very bad bug, the volume regolation doesn't work, handsfree or normal call...
Guest treyguitar Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) mmmm... 2 reboot during 2 different calls is not a good thing... I'll stick with CDTeam Froyometal until this one becomes more mature. Good job anyway malez. Edited January 18, 2011 by treyguitar

What it received call or outgoing calls ? It is a contact why custom picture ? Have you enabled Direct Sound Processor ? What settings ? Any piece of information or help would be welcome. Guest bellanano Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Could you explain a little bit how to reproduce please, i don't understant what you are explaining If you try to raise or lower the volume during a call, handsfree or normal call, the volume remains the same. I've opened a bug and attached a log on the bugtracker of lcr.

I've opened a bug and attached a log on the bugtracker of lcr. Same problem for me, I cannot adjust the volume during a call, the slide is moving up and down but without result... maybe I must activate the DSP manager? I give a try ASAP . Anyway, the ROM is really great, faster than the fast 1.1.2 . GZ!
Guest monoxide.tryst Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 First post says that there is a few themes included [ ei gingerbread ] How do you go about changing the themes??? I looked in the lcr settings under addons/full theme, but there isnt any options in there.

Two full reboots, haven't changed dialer after flashing so I suppose I was using the acer one. Was a received call from a contact with custom picture. About direct sound, I haven't changed anything in settings since flashing rom, I don't know what setting was there. how I installed: 1) full wipe 2) sd card full format and partitioning (from your recovery) 3) flashed acer leak 4.002 4) full wipe 5) flashed lcr-f 2.0 I just answered those two calls since I installed LCR 2.0, from the same contact. I see you implemented performance patches like the froyometal release (did 960 on quadrant), if next patch adds stability in overall I'll be a fan of LCR again. ;) p.s.: I'm not an android dev, but still a dev (pl/sql, php and used linux alot some years ago). After browsing your release (just reading sh scripts) I must admit that... man you really know your way :D. I'll surely donate something :) and ofc reinstall LCR 2.0 to support your debug work. Consider me a tester. Edited January 18, 2011 by treyguitar
Guest Intenso74 Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) Hi malez! First of all i'd like to thank you for this great rom, it's really fast and full of useful features. Just two things: Enabling wifi with advanced controls behaves strangely. The status keeps hanging at receiving ip address, but it doesn't connect to any access point at all. To make it work i have to disable and then enable wifi via the options menu. Also, some apps wont install. I tried via market and titanium, both failed. Here's the list of apps that won't install: 2 player reactor CrystalMemory androidVNC AndroZIP Galcon AnDrawing Bow man Frozen Bubbles Tic-Tac-Toe Could you fix that? Thanks! Guest Relampo Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Nop, it's the better battery life i've had with a rom, little better than T&L. Best so far.. This ROM rocks...! Camera works! Sensors work! Everything smooth! Nice battery drain! This should be devlivered by ACER!

I personnaly use android VNC without any problem I have successfully installed - 2 player reactor - Crytal memory - Frozen bubble - Andro zip So i think you had market or network issue, not rom issues. Thanks, J. prox sensor still has problems, disable it.. I think it's a kernel driver issue or framework issue due to acer.. malez, a very bad bug, the volume regolation doesn't work, handsfree or normal call... Works for me, also with bluetooth headset sony ericsson mw600 mmmm... 2 reboot during 2 different calls is not a good thing... I'll stick with CDTeam Froyometal until this one becomes more mature. Good job anyway malez. Using lcr-f 2.0 since the day of release and no automatic reboots so far! Malez, about gingerbread keyboard.. the one you included is bugged (word substitution for example), there is a better gingerbread keyboard here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875202 Regards Edited January 19, 2011 by fear_factory84
Guest ARCBOY Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 LCR Still No.1 ROM for my Liquid. Many thanks to Vache & malez =)
Guest treyguitar Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 If you try to raise or lower the volume during a call, handsfree or normal call, the volume remains the same. I've opened a bug and attached a log on the bugtracker of lcr. Same problem here, both with acer dialer and aosp. Another thing, changing from acer dialer to aosp and viceversa doesn't ask you for reboot and do it automatically. Apart from that, both work.
