Guest fear_factory84 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 In next version, I will add an option in LCR Settings to enable/disable DSP. So when DSP will be disabled, original libs will be used. Thank you for your time Hi Malez, I had to disable the new audio codec because I noticed that they log a lot and caused low memory killing of background apps when I listen to music via ad2p. Music was aac, low complexity 96kbit. Using alogcat there is a lot of output. It could be useful if I send you that output? Switching to the old codec fixes the problem. What I loose with the old codec? Call volume with speaker and headset doesn't work with and without old codec.. that's a confirmed issue, but I've not understand what changed between lcr-f 1.1.2 and 2.0. Acer has fixed the rating star issue on lates liquid metal rom (released 1/2/2011)..

Guest MisfitGeek Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 I am adapting metal framework for LCR (i have some modification to apply) Wow! Market fix? Other good things?
Guest simoneser Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Other bug i found at LCR1.0 time is that when you remove HTC_IME keyboard from LCRSettings an error appears about unable to find Clicker.apk ;)
Guest seraphim2017 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 After a few nervous e-mails to malez, who was very helpful, I took the plunge! Was very impressed by even stock 2.2 adapted to run on A1, and figured what the heck, so one malez Recovery 0.6.1 later and LCR-F 2.0 is here! REALLY liked a few features of the stock 2.2 but the improved camera UI, ,customisation, ability to move taskbar to top, and OC CPU (managed an 890 quandrant, not bad for a little handset!) Swype now in, although gingerbread keyboard was nice too, and handscent SMS for messaging. let's hope battery life is better than standard issue! Roll on LCR-G!!!! ;) Fm radio sounds good! Just one thing, how do I know apps to SD is working, as it's greyed out on mine? I'm sure some of each file goes to SD but I bought a 16GB SD to make loads of room, hope it's working! Any way of hooking mobile to wifi and forwarding that on to PC via transmitting signal to laptop also through wifi?

Do the specic partitioning of SD 2. Move apps to SD After this lcr settings won't be greyed. But all have to come from recovery. When you install new apps no need to do anything special it'll always be on SD. It's totally transparent. Battery life is very good also. Edited February 4, 2011 by MisfitGeek
Guest vikings123 Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Maybe some hope brothers... Vache posted news about an update on Metal : http://android.modaco.com/content/other/33...-gen1-01-16-01/ Changelog: 1. Adds an FM radio application and Adobe Flash Player. 2. Improves system stability. 3. Fixes the problem where SMS may be sent to the wrong recipient. 4. Improves camera image sharpness and fixes camera application response problems. 5. Stops the device rebooting automatically when the touch panel generates an abnormal response. 6. Ensures Google Market displays the correct 'star rating.' Any chance to pick the points 1, 4 ? And most of all the number 6!!! Framework at last fixed??? I try to search but not seen such update for other liquid... Correct me, if I am wrong. This is for Metal only, right?
Guest HustlinDaily Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 YES DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO FLASH IT.
Guest fragmat Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 +1 Bug All photo can't send or open at Pc, say File is corrupt ;)
Guest Gryx Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 I just did a clean install because yesterday i did a reboot and suddenly data was lost. LauncherPro settings were back to default, got the welcome screen to setup the phone, alot of fc. But now i don't have the dialer? How can i get the dialer back?
Guest mAdkoE Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Smooth Rom, battery drain not so bad (1,5 day with everything switched off) but on annoying bug.. I think that when wifi goes on, doesn't start to discover networks, so there's a delay, about 1 minute, from the moment you switch it on, and the moment it connects to network.
Guest Chewy11 Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 (edited) Wifi does a ping every 120 seconds, so a minute wait is normal. For the dialer(AOSP or Acer?) RE check it in LCR app. Edited February 4, 2011 by Chewy11

Guest fragmat Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 can't find lcr settings- themes ;)
Guest siggey Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Great ROM! I think i've found a bug. I changed theme from original to HTC and the phone get continuos boot until i make a nandroid restore. I wish it would've be useful.
Guest Chewy11 Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 yes but it doesn't ping once you start it. Mine finds remembered networks within a minute or so if wifi is on. Have you tried forgetting a connection then rescanning? hope this helps...
Guest Lesheg Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Hi. An equalizer in DSP manager doesn't work for ringtone during an incoming call. Can it be fixed? LCR-F 2.0

I had this issue long time ago. They were disapearing from market and also from home screen and apps menu. The missing apps where those I moved to SD (from app management on froyo). Some were coming back without doing any action. This stops when I used the ext2 function from Malez recovery. Other kind of disapearing Iencounter is when I start to download an app for upgrade but cancel download. After this app isn't in "my apps".
Guest MisfitGeek Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 same issue for me. i just installed appbrain app instead. I can't say for other roms. As LCR is the best for me, I don't want to lose time to install and get back to LCR. But since few weeks connect time is a bit longer. It isn't linked to LCR 2.0 (connect was longer before upgrade). For me it isn't 1 min, but 20-30 sec after enabling wifi (curvefish widget). Before it was around 10 sec.
