Guest Stevieblueyez Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Guys can anyone help please? Getting quickly fed up with my ZTE as it won't play ball. Noob to all things Android, but been a techie for a long time. I get this: ******* C:\ZTE>fastboot-windows boot boot.blade.superboot.mcri.r3.img downloading 'boot.img'... OKAY booting... OKAY C:\ZTE>fastboot-windows reboot rebooting... C:\ZTE ******* But the phone stays stuck at the black screen with the android on it. Stays like that until I remove the USB cable then it reboots, but doesn't give me the "Super User" option afterwards. It will stay at that Black screen with the Green Android for hours, will only do anything if I take the USB cable out. Having gotten fed up after 11 attempts I tried the Clockwork method, I put that "r3-update-modacocustomrom-blade-signed.zip" onto the root of the memory card and went to get the RomManager application but Android Market is either dreadful or I'm especially unlucky that I'm sat at "Starting Download" for ever. (according to google this is a common problem) Anyone been stuck at the green android screen after reboot? Have tried this on 2 completely seperate machines, both of which have the same result. Am I missing a trick here? Am I supposed to have that 80mb (ish) .tar.gz file on my phone somewhere to use the mcri method?? Please help.

Looks ok to me, you could search for my thread on rooting without a pc/fastboot and do it that way
