Upgrading ROMS - Apps?

A quick question...

when upgrading from R2 to R3 ROMS what Paul has made, I was wondering what happens to all the Market Apps that you have bought (which is only a few for me) - do they stay on the phone, does the Market remember what you have bought or do you lose them totally??
