Guest ED2O9 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Verizon just rolled out the FiOS on Demand video app for a few of their devices, which happens to include our Omnia 2. Basically, it's a way to rent or purchase movies directly on the phone. Granted, the selection of titles in limited, and at an average price of around $3, it would seem limited to business travels who are desperate for a way to kill a couple hours during a lay-over. I tried it on my O2 using a wifi connection, and while it worked, there seems to be some bugs in the system. In any case, it might be something worth having on your phone.FiOSOnDemand.cab

I saw this the other day -- on their site they also have a fios remote, but the only two devices that are supported are the imagio and touch pro 2 -- i tried running the cab on the o2, didnt work...just crashed. I would really like to get that working, if possible. Anyone tried it? https://m.verizon.com/apps/sso/MobileDownloadFB.aspx they have a DVR manager app and the Wifi remote app -- none of which work on the i920 :| Edited October 15, 2010 by surgex
