Guest ogiogi Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 About the camera issue. The problem is exactly in the camera app. That's true. I can take photos with Camera360 app without any errors.
Guest TehOsiris Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 is there anyone else unable to send and receive mms messages with cm6? going nuts pretty much
Guest ogiogi Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 (edited) Another bug: no backlight on buttons, odd, they flash once when i press any in scree turned off mode, then they stay dark.. Go to settings/CM settings/User Interface/LED notifications/Advanced and press Reset. That worked for me :) EDIT: Backlight only works if you press the menu button :) Edited October 14, 2010 by ogiogi
Guest igor_anta Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Go to settings/CM settings/User Interface/LED notifications/Advanced and press Reset. That worked for me :) EDIT: Backlight only works if you press the menu button :) Yup I noticed that, or the trackball or the back button. Not really an issue though, more of an cosmetic annoyance. I can also confirm that using a different camera app doesn't reproduce the issue, took a few pics with camera 360 and no problems whatsoever. Just a few things need to be ironed out and we have a fully stable and working CyanogenMod, even if at the moment it's already better than anything I've had on the phone :) I just wanted to ask what are the benefits of getting the CM .34 kernel?
Guest SonMauri Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Using CM6, everything seems Ok but... I woke up at 8:00 AM and unplugged the phone. Now is 11:30 and phone usage has been minimal. Phone has been connected almost all the time to the computer. Battery is 70%... i mean c'mon! I think someone posted something similar some pages back but couldnt clearly understand the solution propossed.
Guest totiadrenalin Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 (edited) Here is the corrected script. This is working. Also you have several different available commands. After flashing type cpu in the terminal to get the available commands. It's not a real script, but set of binary files. And about the on boot set to ondemand? Well I inject it into the a2sd service. So we won't need to patch the init.rc This script will set your scaling_governor to ondemand every time you reboot your phone. And this script is only for the oc kernel. So this will result with longer battery live. I can promise that.Ondeman_CPU_signed_Upgraded.zip Edited October 14, 2010 by totiadrenalin
Guest totiadrenalin Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 About the bluetooth? Well as I can see the problem is somewhere in the libs. That's for now. But the cm6 patches for some reason doesn't work pretty well on this rom.

Guest david_dawkins Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 any news on flashable .zip? :) CM6 is sounding amazing from what ive been reading! Cant wait to get it :) GOOD WORK TOM G and all other dev's who helping of course :) It's quite easy to install, if you can find "adb-windows.exe" from somewhere - mine is from an amonra recovery install I did. Find naniteboy's posting a while back (I linked to it recently) and follow his instructions to the letter.
Guest flash2004 Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 This is really awesome.. Great work Tom G. Can someone consolidate all the fixes in an appropriate format ? This can then be included in the first post itself ??

Guest DanWilson Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 That's a good one :) Windows > Linux > Mac WTF? Windows > Linux > Mac? Nah. Mac = Unix = Linux > Windows > DOS.
Guest Epic-Emodude Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 WTF? Windows > Linux > Mac? Nah. Mac = Unix = Linux > Windows > DOS. I second that (Windows's only use is for programs that only run in windows (most of them =( )

Guest shamikebab Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 (edited) HI I am new modaco. I have being following this thread and development of froyo. I like the work TOM G and the other dev have done. I hope Tom G doesn’t mine me uploading a flash zip of the CM6 pulse. I have created a zip file which is easy to flash to your pulse via Armon RA recovery or clockwork recovery. Link Below are the steps to flash the zip successfully 1. Do a wipe 2. Flash the CM6 flashable zip 3. Flash DTAPPS2SD-2.7.5.2 4. Flash Gapps for Pulse (2010-09-30) 5. Optional flash overclock kernel the kernel i used was flbmod_v2.0_0c_kernel 6. Then rebot I have added a file manager in the rom The above has worked for me but i can`t Guarantee it would work for you Edited October 14, 2010 by shamikebab
