Guest ED2O9 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 For those of you who have been waiting patiently for the release of SPB Mobile Shell 5, hoping that it addressed the resource hogging issues of previous versions, you should read this thread: http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36075 From what the company reps says, our Omnia 2 doesn't meet the hardware requirement. Oh well...
Guest awarner Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 With WP7 will SPB mobile shell be obsolete in the not so distant future?
Guest jmsmartins Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 With WP7 will SPB mobile shell be obsolete in the not so distant future? will our O2 run WP7?
Guest mutimuti Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 - CPU speed: 1 GHz; - Graphics hardware acceleration; - RAM capacity: at least 512 MiB. :)
Guest ED2O9 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 will our O2 run WP7? No. The Omnia 2 doesn't meet the WP7 hardware requirement. For example, WP7 supports multi-touch and our resistive screens don't (unless you count the pseudo-multi-touch drivers posted here a few months ago.)
Guest xaznxplaya Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 As far as I know none device right now will be able to handle WP7.
