Still no way to flash the phone part on Windows 7 ??!!

Hello ,

everyone knows that we can do almost everything works on our omnia

and everyone knows that we can do almost everything from windows 7

flashing , Cooking , etc

but the very important part " phone part " we still can't flash it using windows 7

some ppl told me to downgrade to XP or use virtual program in w.7

but i am sure there is more easy and simpler Solution for doing that

we here made almost everything working in our omnia

but we still can't make w.7 flash our phone part ?!!!!

i tried USDL_GrandPrix but didn't work , also tried exe phone part but didn't work as well

come on ppl , there must be a Solution ! :)

Hi, I supose that you´re trying to change phone.bin.

I´ve changed it in w7 with grand prix and no problems.

Remember that you must run gran prix as administrator.

Hope you understand my bad english...jeje :)

there is way...simple way

i have flashed phone part in win7 10+ times...

just install vista modem drivers

run grandprix with phone part loaded, reset omnia, flash...1st time it wil count to 0 and say cannot open com port...close grand prix

run grandprix 2nd time with phone part loaded, reset omnia and flash...it will flash with no problems

simple as it can be

p.s. oh use grandprix for vista

Somethig I´ve forgot.... you must dissamble it on Executor first!!!! then you can use grand prix

i already tried a lot my friend , but it always fail

i am always flashing my rom using win7 and grand prix without any problems

but i can't flash the phone part :)

it always count down from 25 and then says port failed

Maybe samsung modem driver is not installed ok.

Try to install it again and then try to flash phone.bin

thanx a lot bro , but when i tried to install i got error msg :

" SAMSUNG Mobile Modem driver was not installed successfully (1) "

i don't know why i have no luck with that , i started to hate windows 7 ;)

Yeah Yeah Yeah , i made it , i f*** made it :)

i just upgraded my phone to PUJA1 , YEAH

the problem was in the modem driver , just use the one above for vista

about the error msg , just press right button mouse on the setup file , and then properties

chose compatibility with windows vista and check run on administrator .. apply .. ok

BTW . the phone part flashing takes more time than the rom itself ;)
