Hi all,

Just wondering if when I buy the phone can I register/activate the phone in-store. Or should I be able to use it straight out of the box without registering it?

I'll be using this phone in the UK while i'm over there on business. No need for a contract phone for the UK as I only spend a few days over there every 6 months or so.

What info will they require for registration?

UK address?

The store should activate the phone when they top up the mandatory £10. Usually takes up to a couple of hours or so to finally go through.

And they shouldn't need any info from you.

They will ask you to fill out a form with your name and address and sign it. They don't enter the information anywhere and they certainly don't check it.

I didn't have to fill out any form last Saturday morning.
