I tried Igo & it looks very nice but as far as I can see it doesn't have the ability to search on UK postcodes which for me is a dealbuster.

Thanks, Not sure if this is specific to iGo8 but Astro is giving me "Not enough space" while installing the apk. The phone says I've got 50 Mb available internal storage, any ideas? Should I perhaps install the apk before adding maps and POIs to the iGO folder on the SD card?

Right, sorted. I had to delete Skype to take me to about 62 Mb free storage. A rather annoying limitation but I guess I need to get the Froyo on there in order to start moving some of the apps to the Sd card.

try typing the postcode in the "City" box
