Help: How to update via KIES with modified Rom

Hi,

Yesterday I updated my phone Omnia II (i8000) to WM 6.5.3 with Octans. The version contained Dutch language, but not everything was dutch, as example the calendar was in Russian.

Yesterday evening I downgraded to WM 6.1 and now I want to upgrade it to the official 6.5 with Samsung Kies. The Question is, how can I update it...

The Rom version that I am using now is:

"PDAVersion"="I8000XXIH5"

"CSCVersion"="I8000FAMIH4"

"PhoneVersion"="I8000DXIH2"

"ContentsVersion"="I8000FAMIH4"

I don't know how to update using Samsung Kies.

Samsung Kies is a problematic piece of software with zero support. Why use it? Samsung is a great hardware maker, but their software lacks a lot, especially when it comes to driver support and mobile phone support programs for PC.

Just look for a stock ROM, ideally a 6.5 version (since is what you want, I presume), and ideally find a CSC from your region and you are done: Your mobile phone will be like 'stock' new.
