Guest joecruz Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 (edited) Here's mine. I've had a windows mobile phone for quite a while and applied some tweaks from previous phones. Dont know if they work but I still applied them...fone's quite fast actually... BASIC: - Daskalos B7610 6.5 Build 21916 (Daskalos/6.5) - Megalite - WWEnglish TWEAKS: - below are tweaks that made my xperia x1 faster. I applied them to my b7610, seems to work...PS. This tweaks reduces your ram by 8MB File System Cache: Enabled File System cache size: 8mb File system filter cache: 16384 sectors Glyph cache: 32 kb - I did not install any cabs for my tweaks as I do them all using Advance Config Tool - overclocked to 952Mhz - Disabled start menu This set up makes my b7610 blazing fast!! You wont notice it a first but after a while (the more you use, the more you'll notice the improved speed). After a day's usage, I still have about 70MB RAM left INTERFACE CUSTOMISATION: - Basic titanium TODAY SCREEN: - as stated above, basic titanium LOCKSCREEN: - S2U2 v2.4. I disabled all other services in S2U2 and just left out the lock and sms notifications (no caller ID, reminders, S2P integration, auto EXEs, etc active) OFTEN USED TOOLZ: - Total Commander - Samsung clock - Facebook - FingerKeyboard (smaller footprint than Samsung XT9) - Quick Menu - Ervius SIP selector ADDITIONAL TOOLZ: - Samsung Dialpad (for video calling) - Samsung settings PLANS FOR THE FUTURE: - to try to look for (or convince any b7610 chefs out there) an extendir megalite rom with Resproxy integrated ADDITIONAL NOTES: as stated above, even with the speed tweaks and the samsung dialpad installed, after a day's usage I still have 70MB of RAM left. Soft reset, brings it to about 79-82 MB Edited October 21, 2010 by joecruz

Guest guamzintrusion19 Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 Guys, thanks a lot for your suggestions and tips for audio recorder and office. Guest guamzintrusion19 Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 Does anyone one know how to remove the sent notification? Actually, I'm looking for troubleshooting help. I have sorg's remove sent notification cab installed and it was working perfectly fine, but after I installed Softmaker office 2008 I started to get the sent notification again. :P I did the following but still did not work: reinstalled remove sent notification cab, reinstalled softmaker office, and tried the registry tweaks available here in Modaco. So now, I'm still getting the sent notification bubble and tone. Don't know what to do anymore. please help! T_T

Actually, I have been using version 2.43...mine was a typo... for sent notification, use advance config under messages, there's an option to remove sent notification

Guest Freezy1982 Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 Nice to have you here on Board with a nice setup, gebster! Simple, but functional! Thanks also for the Tips with your games - I will test some in near future :D GreeZ! Freezy1982
Guest gebster Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 Thanks Freezy1982! I got alot of ideas from this thread. I hope many more will post their set-up. Previously I used SPB shell with Espresso Theme but it eats a lot of RAM (start-up at around 35-40MB!) So I gave up on it and tried other today screens and ended up with the one i posted. I'm still looking for ways to minimize RAM even on stock ROM.. Cheers!
