Please help to get SF its own section at XDA

I voted no because I don't see any point in having another forum for the phone. People seem to think that having a forum on XDA will magically allow more custom ROMs for the device.. it doesn't work like that.

I guarantee that if a forum is created on XDA that it'll just become a duplicate of the work and information already in this forum.

Some of it of course. That's the way we all share information nowadays. Cross posting is a good thong cos you can be sure there are people on this forum that have never been to xda and vice versa

Having followed the development of the hero from the beginning. I can say with absolute certainty that kwithout many sites sharing information the development would be nowhere near where it is today.

For some people the attraction of the Roms found here is that modaco means stability that's great but for others stability is not what they are looking for. They may want absolute performance. In Which case they are likely to turn to xda first.

There will be lots of duplicate information yeah. But on EVERY site there is always something unique.

So IMHO the more places that cover something then the more information is available to all.

Plus we all know that Paul likes to flit from device to another. Never does any harm to get more people involved.

As mentioned in an earlier post, NPRussell at Villainrom has stated is going to be developing and there is already a Sub forum for the blade on the Villainrom site.

I have a feeling this is just the beginning.

Never saw it, hopefully it's going to take off for development.
