If only somebody noticed sooner :P I... erm... actually noticed a while ago, a Chinese guy emailed me to say that my de-orangeated ROM worked on his device, and ask if I could make him an update.zip file to restore his device via clockwork recovery... I made him one, and it 'sorta' works on my SF. But as you've deduced, the phone wont work because of the hardware differences... However If anyone wants to try it out.... I changed the default language to English, replaced the RIL lib and repacked it and uploaded it here: REMOVED - MD5 : abed9a35a98b4bc89858605188003596 You *REALLY* will need to wipe your data/factory and cache partitions, so better do a backup first. Less RAM in the Chinese phone. Different screen resolution also I believe, and different cell frequencies. Just got 886 points on Quandrant. Really happy.
