Can you upload the vm heap tool please? I don't have the apk file to hand and since the market won't work I can't download it.

Don't have it to hand, I just edited the Build.prop.

On a side note, keep getting errors trying to add a google account :/

Just pushed and pulled the file with android commander!

Saves time over using adb :P

Same here and it's annoying. There is something really weird about the rom... the boot.img is suppose to be rooted but root apps are failing, superuser is failing, adb seems like it's not enabled. Google apps can't sign in...

Hopefully somebody with some skills can check it out and fix it.

Just tried the 2.2 rom. Never tried quadrant but got 6.6 on linpack. Also tried angry birds, it ran a Lot better, much smoother and less lag.

Cant wait for a full working version of this.

I think we should try get the retail version of this rom from someone in china who actual has bought the V880 from a shop.

Angry birds worked fine on mine, just dumped the .apk on my sd and used the inbuilt file explorer to install it.

Might be something different in flibble's build to Sebastian's build you're using.

Rem1x, do you need usb drivers to get Android Commander to see the phone?

The difference is flibble has turned HW acceleration on. All you need to do is edit the build.prop file... Search the forum

I think with more of my tweakz can probably get about 1k steady

Just a thought, but could the Google issues be that it's looking for Google.cn and not Google.com? Google and China have a fractious relationship and China have pulled access for some services now and again.

Anyway, liking the way this thread is heading. Great work guys!
