Hi raph84, I bought the same case and although it looks big outside the case, it fits perfectly...

If I take a picture to mine, the proportions are exactly the same has yours, but the SF fits just right

Well actually its a pretty good case for the price and the phone fits just fine.. i dont understand the purpose of this tittle.

Its soft inside to protect the phone and the screen and it does what is told to do.

The phone wont come out even if you drop it, the only way it will get out is if you pull the cord.

I would buy it again if i had the chance rather than buying those adaptations from other phones specially that one from the nokia.

As I think may have been mentioned previously, the large leather pouch from Vodafone stores £6 is a perfect fit. Similar to the Krussel pouches at half the price.

I found my old Nokia C3 case was perfect for my SF, It is cheap but the stitching looks like it will last for all time. The C3 and the SF are virtually identical in dimensions.

My E71 case is red inside and I found the red dye is transfering to the SF.

You can see it on the edges

It looks good but the htc branding is off putting.

Just a quick question, those of you going with the silicon case, are you also getting a pouch to hold it in or is the silicon case + screen protector good enough?

Aw heck yeah! That is a good looking pouch for a decent price. As for screen protectors, I'm thinking of going with the i900 mirrored ones. The novelty factor has me firmly in its grips :)

Yes, that is great feedback on my earlier recommendation. The quality is fantastic, there is a choice of colours and the fit is perfect. You can try it in the shop and six quid is very reasonable. Plus you have a shop to take it back to if it breaks.

Bought case pictured at foot of page 1, fits well, only gripe from daughter is that its the wrong way up (she's comparing to the iphone case I have) the closure is at the top on this case and it feels wrong. Still it is a great fit and will be fine until a proper case becomes available.

You sure it is dye transfer and not wear?

I'm using a black pouch that appears soft inside but I am getting wear on the edges of the phone. They also have a red-purple tinge.

Wish I'd used a sock now.

Defo red dye - you ca see a red tint on the edges.

Thinking of buying a socks now because people are complaining that E71 slip-in case is turning SF to red.

One thing to watch out for on one like this is...

I spent ages trying to figure out why, on my phone the compass was pointing North, but, the other half's was pointing West, even though they were pointing in the same direction. Cue an hour wasted recalibrating, rebooting, reflashing.... just to realise it was the magnetic catch sending the internal compass haywire!

I recently bought this. The pouch fits perfectly (exact dimensions). the LCD films are bigger but this is worth it for the pouch alone !!
