Guest Tom G Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 The silly thing is that the IDEOS has a MSM7201A CPU so the kernel should support the Pulse CPU. The config I uploaded was from a different ideos ROM so it's possible that it's not compatible with the kernel source. I know that has been said before, but the kernel config suggests it is not true. It uses an msm7x25.

Guest twrock Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 Off topic warning. I can not seem to get the Ideos /system files to deodex (HongKong version). I'm sure it's pilot error, but if someone has a source for the deodexed rom (or is willing to try it themselves), I'd really appreciate it. I'm really only trying to deodex the HWCalla_TaiWan.apk. Here's a link to the whole /system: http://www.mediafire.com/?ikcvrhcd3r3jomv

Guest twrock Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) this one suits Eclair well Penpower HW on Acer roms ..wonder if it's gonna work on froyo? I'll have a look. Please keep your eyes open for Hwawei's own though. I can't handle browsing the Chinese language forums too look for it. HWime is working ok for me, but I'd like something a little better. I do think I'll pull it apart and try to pre-install it in the rom. Edit: Protocold informed me that the Eclair HanvonCalla in fact does work on CM6.1. Problem solved.
