Change SMS Colors?

I've looked all over for this and cannot find the answer. Even browsed everywhere I can think of in the registry.

The ROM i'm using has the standard WinMo messaging App for SMS. I like this app, and dont really want to change it, however the colors are all off. The background is grey, the sender is light-green and it just looks terrbile.

Is there any place to change these colors?

I am not sure about colors, but background etc. and few other details can be changed by using this program from xda.

To change background go to start> message>menu>options>style> font color
