Guest idroid84 Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Do you have any plans to add the custom battery to your boot screens m8? as I have your droid-apple one on. I have tested my files with the custom battery, works fine. So bootscreens + custom battery works brilliant! I don't have it in mind, however if anyone requires a battery to be added just request what bootscreen you would like and what battery indicator you would like and I will do my best to add it for you. I have also added some info regards to requests to the main posts.
Guest southpaw1 Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) The origional framework-res.apk was taken from R4-ModaCo ROM. Maybe there is issues somewhere. does this mean your work with boot-screens wont be compatable with my device using r4 ??? cheers btw idroid , can i remove the framework file from "sebs de oranged" rom and replace with pauls framework file , then use your original method ? Guest myfeetsmell Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Found these while surfing. Not my work. 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) Great boot screens mate, but bit of a noob here how do you save these images to add to the boot screen zip Any help would be appreciated cheers Phil
Guest idroid84 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 @myfeetsmell # You can't unless you change the size of the animated images to be compatible with the Blade.
Guest myfeetsmell Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 @myfeetsmell # You can't unless you change the size of the animated images to be compatible with the Blade. Thanks for that, custom resize should be easy enough - he says ha ha?? so you resize each image of the animation to what size anyone know. I still cant save the images on the post previously mentioned, only option to save one image I have probably got this all wrong Currently running the droid p***ing on the apple icon, looks great but just playing around and trying to make up different ones. Thanks again guys
Guest idroid84 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 @myfeetsmell # Yes, also from a resize currently as it sits the boot animation is 24 frames. You will need to make sure your animation is 24 frames. I can tell you now the ones posted are not 24 frames therefore you will also have to add/take away animation frames to create your 24 frames for SF.

Guest ambisingh Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 (edited) ~ Bootscreen Resolutions: 480 x 800 # *Warning* Please BACKUP your framework-res.apk before updating this file. # *Warning* Please DO NOT flash if you have used files to change the homescreen layout. hi just wanted to know about the warning should i not flash a boot screen if i have changed the theme like in this thread i am using the samsung style one http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...ork-factory-v2/ Thanks Edited October 19, 2010 by ambisingh
Guest idroid84 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 @ambisingh # Don't overwrite it, you will need to grab the PNGs as I have attached and put them in your own. (framework-res.apk/assets/images)
Guest ambisingh Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 (edited) @idroid84 hi how would i do that as i new to all this stuff or should i not even attempt this Thanks Edited October 19, 2010 by ambisingh
Guest idroid84 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 you can attempt it but make sure you do a backup of your ROM using clockwork recovery menu. The PNGs just need to be overwrote in the framework file. I suggest you learn about how to pull files from the phone. What ROM do you have installed?

Guest idroid84 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 It can be done in any system aslong as you know the commands, I recommend a gui based push/pull like Android Commander.
