Guest foobar2605 Posted October 17, 2010 Report Share Posted October 17, 2010 Hi all, i'm trying to get the custom roms working in the android emulator. what i've done so far is downloading a custom rom, i.e. nexus one and created a system.img and data.img file. then i placed them in the avd-directory and started the emulator. but the system does not start, i only see the the text "android" and a blinking cursor. what am i doing wrong? thanks for help, foo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest geegeethatsme Posted November 23, 2010 Report Share Posted November 23, 2010 I'm sure this will have been answered by now, but it's simply a question of waiting - several mins. The android text and cursor will eventually change to a slicker android logo before (after some more time has elapsed) the screen builds to present you with the skin of the device you're emulating.
