i8000 won't connect to PC after flashing rom

Hi,

I have just flashed my rom (all the eboot CSC and nb0 r done). but when i browse into the device, the CSC is listed as blank.

also, i can't connect my iphone to PC Studio, as a matter of fact, the computer doesnt even recognize the phone. does anybody know y it happens and how to fix it?

my rom:

CSC: I8000NXXJE5

PDA: I8000NXXJE3

PHONE: I8000DXIG6

btw, i didnt hard reset before flashing the rom, does that matter?

i dont think so. i never do a hard reset after flashing. you should delete old partnership with omnia2 from wmdc or reinstall wmdc. it usually works.

did you try mass storage mode? if it works this way, the solution is the one above. good luck. and i don't know what is iphone doing in an omnia problems thread :P . i never use activesync to transfer files from/to my omnia. it's too slow. i only use it first time after flash to resync contacts. thats all.

Another question, are you using an usb hub? if you do, don't anymore. i had some issues with one, so..it's not recommended. in storage mode its ok, but on activesync you need a direct connection between the mobile device and pc.

Also try another device and if you still have problems, maybe a windows reinstall is requiered.
