Ok so i went to recovery boot menu and did a factory restore,

This wiped my google account details, I then re-setup my account in the market and downloaded the battery app.

It still doesn't work and i get a download unsuccessful message.

Might give up and take her back to o2

Hey Bro, I am going through the Exact same situation, Cannot stay on 2.2 and cannot download anything in 6941-2.1 built, I am even stuck with the landscape mode, I feel awful, I cannot install any apps in my sd card and get INstallation failed Error???? What should I do??? did you fix yours??? I cannot return mine to Dell since I won mine in Austin Miles Race :)

Also I doubt that its related to SD Card since my Streak is booting in Clockwork just fine now but screen goes black after few minutes on froyo 2.2 and phone gets stuck on dell logo, if I downgrade to 2.1 my phone never freezes or goes in sod, it happens only in froyo and in 2.1 I cannot download apps at all,I get download unsuccessful :)
