Guest peribase Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 I managed to get Wifi working by applying the Wifi patch of this page: http://android.modaco.com/content-page/321...-ports/page/20/ My problem is that I cannot activate Roaming data (it's not checkable).
Guest Andrea1Liquid Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) I managed to get Wifi working by applying the Wifi patch of this page: http://android.modaco.com/content-page/321...-ports/page/20/ My problem is that I cannot activate Roaming data (it's not checkable). Thanks. I'll do a fix with wifi working. Sorry for the problem. @TheShark: 1. As I already said... 2. Yeah, you're right. It's a problem of the ROM. I mean that's not a Liquid related problem, is related to the base ROM, but if you (plural) want I can use a different battery indicator in the next version (maybe the one that LCR-F uses). 3. Yes, strange. I think this is a ROM related problem too. It doesn't seem to match the data from Google with the data from SIM. I think it's a contact application bug. If you experience this problem please report  btw, it can be fixed "manually". I mean, when a person calls you and the phone notices that the number is not stored it asks you if you want to add it when you close the call (sense is fantastic). You click on "add it to an existing contact" and it should be fixed  4. Oh. I didn't think about it. I used the one from the base ROM. I'll include an updated version in the next fix :D 5. Yes. This is the way HTC handles the light sensor. In some rare light situations it acts it this way. This is a problem of HTC Desire ROM. Going to investigate a possible way to fix it :D Edited November 16, 2010 by Andrea1Liquid

Guest Andrea1Liquid Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) @Andrea1Liquid and the Community Dev Team Hey, Great Work BRO!!! =D I was just wondering if it was possible to get the original sense look? Umm. It's possible. A user created that for the ROM, but it's for an old version. Maybe it's working. I'll look into it  Btw, with that now they are 200  Edited November 16, 2010 by Andrea1Liquid

Guest vikings123 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 The ROM is really cool. Thanks. But I found some internet problem. WiFi is working fine. But Market is not working. And I can not access internet (or I should say Quadrant can not access)
Guest peribase Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 But I found some internet problem. WiFi is working fine. But Market is not working. The last patch didn't work for me either. Only works the one in the link I provided some posts before. Additionally, I cannot select "non market apps", when I check it, I leave the page and I come back, the option is unchecked.
Guest vikings123 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 The ROM is really cool. Thanks. But I found some internet problem. WiFi is working fine. But Market is not working. After flashing the Fix2, problem was solved.
Guest peribase Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Not for me. Anyway, I've rebooted and the option "non market apps" is checked. Strange, but good. Just one question: any chance to solve the green preview bug in camera?
Guest TheShak Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Thanks Andrea1Liquid for your effort, really appreciated. I must say that the battery life in this rom is AWESOME! I don't know what you guys have done, or whether it's HTC, or Acer are crap at their software... But I've got a phone that lasts TWO days with good use. I've been texting, calling, syncing, GPS, surfing and after 24hrs only down to 50% battery. It beats the stock rom. Anyone else confirm? I've tried the Fix2, WiFi works after two reboots? However the market does not work as mentioned in previous posts, you see the market but can't download and install i get errors Also I don't see the new APN's, when I reset to default I still get the old ones? Am I doing something wrong? Please keep up the good work Cheers
Guest Andrea1Liquid Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Ummm...strange guys. In fix 2 I just added bcm4329.ko. Market was working with Fix1 (at least with data), so that's strange. For now try to download Fix1 (http://www.multiupload.com/X5QHPFXMNC) and then Wifi Fix (http://android.modaco.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=65208).
Guest Andrea1Liquid Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 After flashing the Fix2, problem was solved. Even the market one?
