Confused, have to send my phone back to orange

Hi Guys,

Firstly I know this has been discussed on here before and I have used the forum search, but it is still unclear to me. I have updated my hero to the latest modaco, but the touchscreen is malfunctioning, so i am getting it collected and exchanged tomorrow from orange. So I want to re install the orange rom and stuff.

Right now I am downloading a RUU from 2009-09-18 as that seems to be the most recent one on the HTC website for orange from here

It says its going to take 5 hours to download!

Am I doing this right? Or is there an easier better way?
