Why are people dissing this phone so much

Cost over two years of some of these phones is plain insane, and introduction of phones like the san fran will pull them down quick I would expect. Prior comment about the phone not being a competitor to the iphone, why not - of course it is, thats why people would diss the san fran, its completely eroding the price justification of the existing "high end phones".

As has been said you get what you pay for, my only problem with this is how long you expect the phone to last?

Its good buying cheap but if it fails 13month down the line its £99 quid down the toilet?

This phone has been out a month or 2 and no one can predict how it will survive, if you have a ton to burn no problem but those that dont may look elsewhere.

Lasts 13 months? Exellent. I will then buy one of the many other cheap and even better Android devices that are out then while pissing myself at those who have spent hundreds of pounds on top end devices and locked themselves into a 2 yeart contract.

I have a 32gb iphone 4 bought sim free for £600, I bought this phone for £79 and yes I will mostly take this phone out as I feel much safer carrying it around day to day!!

The iphone 4 is the most luxury phone out there but this is the best value for money by a mile.

People may slate the phone for its camera and its speed is slow in certain games but its a gem of a phone as it can do 95% of what £550 android devices can do.

Honestly, the iPhone 4 is miles away from being the most Luxury phone you can by - especially on the quality of materials used. Look at the TAG Meredist (sp?), Vertu, etc. - they all distance themselves from the rest by their pricing and materials.

I am continually surprised by the SF; its camera is dire, and yes it is slow in some games, but for the price its got virtually no competition - unless you have very specific requirements.
