Dialup Internet connection

Hi all,

i am trying to use my Pulse to connect my WinXP Laptop to the internet

(just as an alternative access solution).

I tried USB and Bluetooth connection with the original T-Mobile Dialup tool but it keeps failing.

My pulse is running FLB Mod 1.6

My provider is Bob (austria)

I entered the APN settings in the dialup tool like they are entered in the pulses APN setting.

Tried different setting i found in the net but still no success.

Any hint ? Any other ways of connecting ?

I would use Barnacle wifi tethering but my corporate notebook does not allow connecting to ad hoc wifi networks

despite me having admin rights on this machine.

download pdanet from the market, after you run the set up on your phone it will ask to download a client for your pc.

it will make the connection trough your usb cable.

Well i have to reactivate this again.

This solution works BUT it is extremely slow.

The websites are loaded like on the 56k Modem

i used to have 10 years ago :)

Anybody seen this with his pulse ?

3G signal is strong here - so that should not be the issue.
