Guest whoop_whoop Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 I've just signed up to an O2 1200 contract for 18 months, £45 a month but 16 months free on an 18 month contract via Mobiles.co.uk. Been using these guys for 4 years now and they've never missed a payment. Add in £50 Quidco and I comes out at around £ 2.22/month effective. Got some basic Nokia which I gave to my dad, getting £32 for my HTC Touch from a recycle site and it's all good! I've never bought a contract just for the phone, I find it cheaper to get a good deal on a contract based on minutes/texts, then wait for a decent phone. Saves a lot of money in the long run ...
Guest jonas_football Posted November 25, 2010 Report Posted November 25, 2010 i just ordered Giffgaff, and am waiting for my sim, as this clearly seems to be the best deal at the moment according to the posts. Can anyone that has Giffgaff tell me how the coverage, call quality, internet speeds are like? is it usable...worth it? cheers jonas
Guest shawn0 Posted November 25, 2010 Report Posted November 25, 2010 Im on giffgaff compared to my old network 3 it feels very second class. Internets free but it would have to be you wouldn't want to pay for it. GPRS nearly all the time for me. Sickening when I get a full signal as well.

Infact O2 own giffgaff anyway.
Guest Lollingsgrad Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 I'm getting 300 minutes or texts and 2GB internet with 3 for £10pm. They sent me a Sony Ericsson Xylo too, so I'll probably get £50 or so on the bay. Works out pretty nicely. Remember to squeeze everything you can out of your network at the end of a contract!
