I've found a workaround, add the attached file to system/audio/ringtones/notification and reboot

I did it with es file explorer root mode, but you can adb remount and adb push

No opsi silent in ringtone sound. Like as gmail, gtalk, etc..

How to add silent ringtones?

I'm confirming this (at least in my case) that the 4.504b has better battery life.

Coming from eclair, I also notice the phone is frequently low on memory, i.e. just need to open 2 browser tabs to bring my Liquid on its knees, and it has to unload other apps and tabs. Was not like this on Eclair.

Maybe this rom is optimized only for Liquid E and not for liquid, maybe it's time just to get another phone :)

I'm running official Froyo 4.002.14 (more recent than ROM in this thread), and then FroyoMetal (even more updated from Acer) on top on an A1 device, no sluggishness, but then again I removed a lot of crapware and it's pretty clean. I believe part of the problem is Acer is still using older linux Kernel which is not as memory optimized as newer kernels that Froyo was supposed to come with.
