It's a con, avoid them like the plague unless you enjoy getting ripped off.

Says who? I've had batteries, cases, dual sims and chargers from them before no problem. It's not original equipment - but it doesn't claim to be. The battery I had for my Nokia was quite a lot higher capacity than the original.

Ok just submitted my PO to ZTE for a consignment of 15 spares for the SanFran, fingers crossed! Once this lot is gone I will consider ordering more if there is still interest.

Kudos to your effort in pushing this through :huh: Please could you also enquire ZTE about the desktop charger as well. I find it convenient to charge my extra battery while using the current one.

Just in case you miss this in the old battery thread,

I may have secured a channel for spare batteries directly from ZTE, they would have to send boxes of 15 units with a price of roughly £15 - £20 per unit by the time it's delivered to you (waiting for confirmation on total price)

Ok, they are now on their way, not sure how long they take to get from china but I would guess a week or 2. Was too late for spare backs but my contact said they would ask their London office if they have any spares laying around they can send me.

No, nothing to do with me. My first batch of 5 have just arrived so 4 of them will be going on ebay tonight, keep an eye on the ebay section. I think my userid on ebay is the same as on here. Doing a google on that product id shows up some factory wholesale direct sellers, some with the ZTE look and some clearly fakes so not sure if they would be original or not.

Mate watch your attitude. Do you have evidence to indicate it is not real? It is real. ZTE use it in some other ZTE mobile phone in China. And it is genuine and original from ZTE. Nokia does the same thing as well. Their batteries are usually used in several product lines.

And ZTE blade is just out for 2 months. How the people can make fake batteries in such short time? I don't want to fight you with this here. It is free market. People can choose whatever they want. But you have no right of any untrue comment on my item OK?

I didn't attack your item in fact I didn't even link to it or mention you, I asked ZTE about 1300mAh batteries and they said they weren't ZTE, maybe they are mistaken, I never said they wouldn't be any good.

As for there not being enough time for fakes to emerge, google shows there are bulk options available that are clearly "fake" though they appear to originate from the same area of China as ZTE so possibly "generic" runs from the same factory.

Would have been nice if you could have mentioned you were getting them though (rather than encouraging me as you did with one of your few posts) as I wouldn't have bothered taking the risk as I'm not in it for profit just helping the community. My contact with ZTE was purely about the kernel initially but people were drawing blanks on getting batteries so I asked and took the risk as it appeared I was the only one in a position to get them.

I am interested which ZTE department you are asking. Because many of my friends are working for ZTE China at the moment. ZTE produced massive a lot cell phones in China. ZTE blade will be named as ZTE V880 in China and branded with China unicom.

Hi, currently ZTE cann't make any large capacity battery. But if they do, I will bring it to UK. About the price, why you just try "make a offer" option.

So why didn't you mention back n the 6th nov ( http://android.modaco.com/content-page/322...eries/page/20/# ) that you were importing some, I even said in the next post I would hold off if anyone else was getting some.
