Guest TimoBeil Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 Not a fan of the white taskbar. As an example, when headphones are plugged in the white icon can hardly be seen. Also the calendar is all white and renders it useless! Bring back the black theme please B) Also, not sure if this had been bought up in the camcorder issues yet but when trying to put a camcorder short cut on the home page, its not in the list. hahahaha When I plug in a headset, I see the plug ... The icon is not that important to me That I can not change the ringtone, bothers me more
Guest neil tring Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 after trying 2.2 dell i decided to try and put 1.3 on instead of 1.11 i had. Flashed baseband etc but for some reason launcherpro widgets not working. is there a fix?

I thought something was wrong. If you have LauncherPro Plus, you may use the calendar widget and that'll work.
Guest untrueparadox Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 lol ill do 2 versions of theme maybe, currently im wondering where engadget got this version of stageui: http://www.engadget.com/2010/11/15/android...d-dell-streaks/ asd it blatently has an fm radio stage - anyone fancy some detective work exactly what i thought when i installed that rom too. it seems that the released rom for beta streaks isn't the final rom. there isn't a setting button on the widgets and books, movies, etc are missing as well.
Guest Flavio Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 (edited) I've been running 1.3 since it was released and I have an issue with battery life. With the display off the battery went from 100% to 36% in 8 hours and the Streak was just lying there. When I look at the battery stats I see the following: Cell Standby 63% Phone idle 31% Wi-Fi 3% Android System 3% Display 2% Is there a setting I could change to improve this? Could it be the Dell Sync app that is the cause? As far as I can tell that's the only new app in the system since I upgraded from 1.2. Edited November 20, 2010 by Flavio

The Theme for Froyo link for sure causes bootlooping though. BTW, I'm on 1.3 and was trying to remove .apks (ie, Twitter, Facebook) in System/app to be replaced by customized, transparent .apks but I'm unable to get it to work. Any chance the new theme we can just install most of the apps ourselves?
